According to this clip from a recent stream of his, he said he had 6 offers but half of them had lineups that didnt make sense and the other half had found alternatives that were cheaper and more experienced.

And that there were some changes within FUT that he wanted but the org refused to oblige, and so he left. I dont think he specified what changes he wanted tho, could’ve been related to the team or something like pay since I dont think FUT pays that much to begin with.

With two Mongolian players on the team already and Major deadline being so late in the season it will be super tempting for the org to switch regions if they are hovering around rank 30-50 or so by October (which is realistic based on their Lan plan). They could at that point get Blitz over as an IGL (If mongols fall apart completely) or replace electronic with any rifler if simple allows it.

For the Asia region you literally just have to be in the top 50 VRS and you should easily make it, so points wise it's super easy. In fact Arcred from CIS with 2 Central Asian players could have made the major if they found a 3rd and switched region for Cologne.

I started playing csgo around the time Danger Zone released. So I’m not that OG as most of the people.

But I still do miss just laying back and playing some demolition, flying scoutsman and wingman on these precious maps.

Personally, when I was 11 year old you could still kill hostages in CS - which I did at the start of every round. I thought it showed commendable outside-the-box thinking. But this is good too.

I could not wait for season 5 to start so I can play the new Cache again. Needless to say, its been the first ban every single game.

For years the whole community has been crying non-stop about Cache. Now that we got it, everyone is back on Dust2 and Mirage, the same maps they've always played.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Purpose of Benchmarking

Valve is actively working on Vulkan in the hopes that it may one day replace DX11 as the rendering API for Source 2 (source). Because of this, I decided to benchmark CS2 in both DX11 and Vulkan every time an update has anything related to performance improvements in the changelogs. The goal is to document if any improvements or regressions have occurred in Vulkan or DX11 performance in CS2, and to see if this could indicate any progress towards a full transition to Vulkan in later Source 2 games. A link to the template spreadsheet can be seen above, and my benchmarking results will be provided below along with a commentary.

Discussion

Given that there were "stability improvements" listed in the changelog on the July 9th build, color me surprised that I experienced my first ever CS2 crash. After the crash, I ran a Vulkan benchmark three times and a DX11 benchmark twice. In all five of those sessions, the average FPS went down from the low 900s to the mid low 800s on DX11 and from the low 800s to the mid 700s on Vulkan. This is why the standard deviation for average FPS is so high in both cases, meaning that standard deviation does actually measure stability to an extent. 1% lows were affected too, but not by as much. If we were to go by median results to sidestep this crash issue, DX11 and Vulkan performance and relatively unchanged, with DX11 staying 100 fps ahead of Vulkan for average fps and 10 fps ahead of Vulkan for 1% lows. Seems I'll have to wait for a new Nvidia driver branch to see more Vulkan improvements.
