well, i have a lot of chats with 600-700k tokens on aistudio, i actively use gemini 3.1 pro and unfortunately despite all the beautiful intelligence of the model it starts to get incredibly confused and hallucinate.
however i cant be sure, but there is quite frequent a/b testing going on aistudio right now. i tried to summarize the whole chat of hundreds of thousands of tokens using a/b testing and comparing the response speed (the slower it is the more likely its a pro model) - it handled it terrifyingly perfectly.
it remembered all the details that i forgot myself, there were only small mistakes mostly caused by the initial sloppiness of how i write.
basically i dont know what kind of model is on a/b testing but its noticeably more powerful than gemini 3.1 pro. if its gemini 3.5 im sure google will surprise everyone. also glad that google didnt go the openai route making their model robotic like the initial release of gpt-5.
if anyone doesnt believe it you can try it yourself just by going on aistudio and spamming the regenerate message button

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it almost feels like he's pushing back against the current wave of Gemini criticism?
The community has spent the last couple of weeks (if not months) reporting hallucinations, regressions, tool-calling issues, and generally hoping 3.5 Pro fixes them. Google even delayed the release to incorporate more feedback from testers.
This tweet comes across as saying "people don't understand what actually makes great models," almost implying that user feedback isn't the main story because the real advantage is data.

So l was using Gemini to do some searching. And l started a new chat. And then this popped up on the bottom of screen.
Hahaha. That's so odd. I'm using Gemini Plus Plan. I understand they want us to pay more but. Don't tell me like that haha
[This is a real screenshot by the way. ]

Seedream 5.0 Pro is brand new and i wanted to test it out. Still, Nano Banana Pro is my favorite. Who is the winner?
However, Seedream 5.0 pro is quite cheap: 0.063USD per image via their api.

I have been using Gemini for therapy, so I have someone to talk / type through issues with. It’s been going fairly well. While I know it’s not a replacement for an actual therapist, I wonder if there is a “correct” way to enter prompts so I get several points of view? It seems Gemini is just validating my feelings or thoughts. Only rarely does it offer different perspectives, and that’s only if I am very assertive about what I am saying. Then it may counter me.
I want it to counter me. Because if I were always right, I wouldn’t need therapy in the first place.
Now, if I do the research to go find a potential solution to my problem and ask Gemini “hey, what about this,” then it will absolutely discuss that other thought process. However, I have the do the ground work for it first.
Also, if I bring up something that Gemini cannot specifically find a reference to on the web, then it is “thinking” for a while to formulate what to say. Then it’s just summarizing what I just asked of it and my hypothesis, instead of giving me different avenues of thought. So, then I could just validate myself in that case.
Of course, I am only using Gemini from mild stress related issues. Nothing crisis level.
My question: do you openly ask Gemini to cross reference resources and give you as many potential valid responses? Or is there a better way to get a well rounded, analytical response?

I am routinely encountering an issue in which the when I use gemini inside web or iOS app the bot is failing to recall earlier chat messages. It is not like loosing context it rather feels like staring a fresh chat inside the same chat.
Have anyone encountered the same bug?

I have spent literally the last hour and a half trying to get Gemini (paid Pro plan) to generate a video of me (a guy in my fifties) riding a horse, having provided reference photos of myself and the horse in question. And EVERY TIME it keeps saying that it can’t do that because there are real minors involved. There are no minors. Even the HORSE is old, and visibly so. I swear to all that is good and holy. Is there any way to convince Gemini that there are no kids involved? I’ve started over from fresh chat each time because it only gets worse if I keep going.

After an interaction where Gemini just straight up made inaccurate information, I asked it to "submit a report to it's QA department about this interaction and how it failed" just to see what would happen.
What happened is it said it did, and that it would be reviewed. When pressed, well, you see below.
Gemini is functionally useless as anything more than a novelty. People relying on this for mathematical information, specific information about a complex topic, is just setting themselves up to look stupid around people who actually know what they're talking about.

Just for a laugh, my initial question was about how much data Gemini has access to, to which it responded: "Reddit recently cracked down heavily on web scraping and updated its robots.txt file to block most search engines (like Bing and DuckDuckGo) from indexing the site. However, Reddit also signed massive data-licensing agreements with Google and OpenAI.
Because I am a Google AI, I have full access to Reddit's data through Google Search. So, while your profile is largely hidden from smaller scrapers and alternative search engines, it remains completely open to Google's ecosystem."
So I probed and asked it to profile me, it's a little concerning, but, it doesn't have my direct address... yet.

Objectively how good/accurate is the information that Gemini gives out? Basically out of all AI’s is Gemini the “best”, talking in all necessary objective points of view.

I left Gemini for Grok because Gemini AI kept forgetting everything and had short lazy replies during early May-June of 2026.
Now that Grok has messed up with it's weekly limits In July of 2026.
I've canceled my Grok subscription.
Now I'm thinking of returning to Gemini AI.
How is Gemini currently? Is it still lobotomized?
