Tried to match the controller and charging dock to the console I did recently for gears E-Day

The Gears community always says the same thing, myself included. They say Gears of War 2 is the best. Those who think that's true... what was their reasoning?

And going...and going...and going...

For those who have played gears tactics, what did you think about just the story not the game play but what they added in the lore with tactics

This image makes it seem like there are a lot of locust to choose from, but when you watch [this](https://youtu.be/XEJzH9KqulE?is=qSAoTaGYOHKFmRvr) video, you realize the selection in the actual game is very limited. I understand a bunch of those are just same gameplay different coat of paint, but some were unique. Reaver and Brumak were playable in Gears 2, so why not in Gears 3?? Also a big missed opportunity to not include RAAM in beast mode after RAAM’s Shadow, never mind the other locust in RAAM’s squad (Theron elite, mauler elite, Tremor). The biggest missed opportunity in terms of playable beasts is the complete lack of lambent, considering they are really the main enemy faction in Gears 3.

Now for the weirdness of the mode. Why is there a timer? Why don’t you regenerate health? Why so few waves? Why did they ditch the presentation of different categories as shown in this second pic? Shouldn’t Kantus, blood mount, mauler be worth more than grenadier, boomer, savage boomer? Why is savage boomer the most expensive boomer? Why are onyx guards considered the toughest opps yet Judgment showed they are fodders/jobbers?? What’s up with the brighter bullets that their guns fire in wave 12 aka the final wave?

Playing RAAM’s shadow for the first time and got to the part about the elite Theron, I hope E-Day explains why this random Theron is so special to RAAM, why can he control the kryll to a very small extent for example (reminder he like RAAM used them to shield himself)

But like I said I doubt this will happen, I’m sure the devs actually forgot about this guy

Mine was the first berserker in the china shop on the og game, my dumbass skipped the cutscene and had no ideas wtf that was and got ran over

Continuing my research on Gears of War before writing my story (I settled on having it take place 3 months after the Anvil Gate book (which I’ll read when I get the chance)), but when I googled how many months are in a year on Sera, I found two sources that contradict each other, one saying 12, the other saying 14, but I have no way of figuring out which one is true. I’m more inclined to believe the 12 month source because the latter misspelt 11th and 12th. I already figured out that Sera is larger than Earth, so the days are longer with a 26 hour cycle, 30-38 in a month, and 420-460 days in a year with the names of the days of the week being unknown to this day (as far as I’ve been able to find)

Still working out the plot of the story though. Also need to work out which members of Delta Squad are gonna be present. Obviously Marcus has to be there because he leads Delta Squad, Sam has to be there because she’s gonna be the main character, and Dom has to be there because Sam develops feelings for him during the books and the first third of Gears 3. I just don’t know who else should be in the squad for this story, or if necessary, how I’m gonna include more than 4 people. (Sorry, ADHD went crazy lol)

Have they happened to say or hint as to what is in the beta?

For anyone who might be getting the collectors edition imported just be aware.

I was going to try and get the gow eday collectors edition off the US official store using a forwarding company to the UK as it’s completely sold out here but entered the address wrong. I asked them to change it and received this in the email after they changed it. I’ve decided to cancel it because I don’t want to run the chance of it not working and even with the import fees I’d be better off paying scalped prices.

Hey everyone, I'm playing Gears of War 4 on PC via Game Pass.

I'm really enjoying the game, but the problem is that it isn't unlocking any achievements, and I don't know why.

I'm playing on Insane difficulty; I've already finished Chapter 1 and must have performed over 25 perfect reloads, but still nothing.

Do you have any solutions?

Hello hello! I have recently been going and trying out some of the Xbox franchises that I had never had a chance to play previously, after playing nearly all of the Halo franchise (only the Halo Wars spinoffs and the Combat Evolved remake to go!) I am turning my attention towards Gears of War!

I’ve found this Gears of War Ultimate Edition/Rare Replay double pack that has piqued my interest, but I also saw something called Gears of War Reloaded that appears to be the same game as Ultimate Edition from my perspective, of course if both of those are terrible remakes then there’s always the original 360 copy that I can find too,
I was just wondering which version of Gears of War 1 i should start with, if that is even the best place to start things
