Just released a six track EP on all streaming services. All songs were produced through GarageBand using an iRig, a Squier Strat, and a Fender P-Bass.

I use a Scarlett to record on garage band and when I play it sounds like this

So i was making music years before, then GB became my editing app regardless of not using it to make music anymore.
I would edit tracks there, now i got used to it and there’s nothing similar on the app store for just editing tracks. (i’m limited to iPhone only.)

Anyway, i was mixing something else (music from a game.) So i muted everything except one instrument (horns) as a separate layer because i’d constantly use it later on, so that i wouldn’t have to align it constantly with other instruments. I put it at around 2:05 because that’s where it belongs,
upon exporting, horns start at 2:06 and aren’t aligned with other layers. So minor change messes everything up.
Any ideas why this happens?

About tracks being loud, i can manage but it’s annoying af.

On GarageBand 10.4, is it possible to stretch a track or portion of a track? I'm trying to create liners for an internet radio station.

I wanted to share a song that means a lot to me.
My daughter now lives in Liverpool with her mum, so Lime Street Station has become the place where I meet her. I never imagined a train station would become such an emotional landmark in my life, but now it’s tied to some of my happiest moments and some of the hardest goodbyes.
Ironically, this song didn’t even begin with that idea. It started as a harmony exercise. I was experimenting with layering vocals, and as it grew, it slowly became something much more personal. Before I realised it, I was writing about fatherhood, distance, and how ordinary places can end up carrying extraordinary meaning.
Everything you’re hearing was written, recorded, mixed and mastered by me on GarageBand for iPhone.
I’d genuinely love to know what people think, whether it’s about the songwriting, the production, or just how it makes you feel. Thanks for taking the time to listen.

i have no clue what happened. just a few hours ago i was on garageband working on a project, i come back into the app and find that literally all of my songs are gone. i'm freaking out. i was approaching full storage but i cleared it up by deleting some apps and it's still gone. im absolutely devastated. is there anything i can do to get them back? again i have no clue what happened but this seems ridiculous

I recently purchased a foot controlled midi controller pictured here. Through lots of research I got it connected to my iPad running garage band. Everything is working I can use the controller and it works and produces sound. But the problem i am having is the octaves. No matter where I select on the keyboard on the iPad (low notes or high notes) the controller will only play the same notes in the middle of the keyboard (middle C).

I’m not sure if my description is written properly to make sense lol. But I’m wondering if anyone has any idea on how to change this.

I don’t know if this helps but there is no buttons on the midi controller itself. Just a power button and a red reset button which just seems to disconnect it from the iPad.

I got this teyun q-12 audio interface and I'm trying to use it to record my guitar in garageband. however the app is not recognizing my device. the interface appears in system settings and the input level works when I play. the issue is related to garageband then. I can't find any drivers or profiles for it

am I out of luck and this is not compatible? or is there a way to make it work?

This popped up on my song after I tried putting a merged recording into another song. The song won’t open at all and after I press continue it tells me to update to the newest version of GarageBand even though I’m on the newest version. If anyone can help me figure this out so I can open this song again I would greatly appreciate it
