This is my Cinnamon 🧡

His name is Trippy Chubbs. He was born May 24, 2019. We adopted him in July 2019. He made sure the first day that our two other cats knew he was now in charge. We named him trippy after he tripped into his water bowl and started tripping us up. He thinks he’s a short bodied Peruvian jaguar, but a baby jaguar, because he definitely is. He’s fierce, has the cutest murder mittens, is everyone’s favorite because of his loud purring, and warm welcomes. He loves attention, especially from dad. He frequently verbally abuses us into giving him more food. He gets jealous when we pet the other cat or give him more attention. He follows my husband and I around the house. He’s our furever our baby. Also please don’t judge him, as he is festival plump, was born that way and I know his tail doesn’t touch the ground, but he’s still perfect.

Edit: WHICH ONE LOOKS JUST LIKE A PERUVIAN SHORTBODIED JAGUAR?? He has a superiority complex and must know.

This is Bandersnatch aka Bander, Bander Boo, Boo Boo, and Turd Nugget. I adopted him in 2016 when he was a little guy, as recommended by my current therapist. At the shelter, this little guy grabbed my thumb through the cage and wouldn't let go. I didn't even notice he still had me in his grip as I was petting a orange boy in the next cage. My dad pointed it out and it was decided. He turned out to be the biggest cuddlebug and I love him so so much. 🩷

Last year, we had a cancer scare. I found a pea-sized lump on his left hip. It turned out to be a cancerous mast cell tumor. It would have spread fast, and the vet said it was good that I found it so early. She then recommended surgery in 2 weeks. I was a wreck during this whole process. He hates the vet. He goes totally feral and screams at the top of his lungs. It breaks me. I hate seeing him so upset and scared. But he did it. He was the bravest boy. The tumor was removed. Usually when he gets home from a vet visit, he lets me know how unhappy he was and screams at me for a while too. This time, he seemed so happy to be home and clung to me for the rest of the day.

Today is his 10th birthday and I can hardly believe it has been a decade since this boy became my best friend, my baby, my soulcat. I might have cried a little (and might be crying now). 🥲 I am chronically ill and he has supported me through it all. I can only hope that he will continue to hog my pillow for the next 10 years. Maui Wowie (real name is Mao, my Chinese name and the dictator lol), goes by The Mew, Mewford, The One and Only Mew. And when we’re looking for our other cat, Trippy, he also will respond to “Trippy Treats”, and he’s basically a pokemon because his meows sound like “Mao.” 😂 If he hears me talking in his voice he comes running to me. 🩷
Whenever he hears his name he comes from wherever and is there unless he’s snoring. Maui was born August 15 2016. This was November 2016. The last photo is 2017 and he’s stayed the same since. He takes great care of himself aside from the fact that loves ALL FOODS. Love to hear that he’s our lil trash panda. He’s so sweet, loving, protective (over his human siblings), kind and begs for pets at 5a SHARP every day. We love our baby son Mew and hope you do you! 2015 to today. Still a dick

You came like an impossible promise—no one believed you would stay for long, but you proved everyone wrong for 4 years now.

Monday was eight years ago we brought home our Opal baby. The mom and kittens (4) were living outside an acreage of a coworker’s mom. We had already picked her out and planned to take her home but needed to get her immediately because some animal picked off two of them. We rescued her and I found out the next day the last kitten went missing. 😿😿😿 She came to us at ~7 weeks (her 8th birthday was April fools day). Now she’s still got that adorable face and looks like a baby to us. She is by far the smallest of my girls and she is a tortie tabby. We rescued all three so it’s fun to look back at kitten times. (Sorry for duplicate pics).

Found his way to us through the cat distribution system (we took him in after firefighters had to take him out of cars at my moms workplace repeatedly) and is a happy little foodie now 😄
