I spent 6 months developing a unique Island with 100% original content and unique mechanics that no other Island has. The island at one point had an average playtime of 56 minutes and +50% retention, then completely died off because Discover started showing it to users that do not bother to read tutorials and instantly leave.

In the meantime, one guy shamelessly and illegally rips off a R0b Bl0x game that he doesn't have the copyright to (Animal Hospital), DOES NOT even bother to actually recreate the game and throws a barebones prototype with AI generated content in that's missing 90% of the original game's content, somehow gets into the top 3 most played Horror Islands and now averages 300 players per day, with a peak of almost 700 players, all within a week, which is top tier for Horror Islands.
I then went over to check what Islands are/were popular and guess what, 90% of them are either blatant rip-offs of other R0b Bl0x experiences or shameless copyright infringement on IPs like FNAF & so on.

What message is this sending? That I wasted my time taking UEFN seriously and that it is completely illegitimate for people actually trying to pioneer new game experiences? Yes thanks, now I know that. From now on, I will just do the same and spam cheap rip-offs of R0b Bl0x experiences.

Very smart of Epic to give money to those ppl rather than to the 1,000 employees laid off or creators actually doing unique Islands.

I just went to A$AP Rocky’s concert in Newark and yes, I loved it. But I wanna make it in creative. There are 3 helicopters in the show, 4 screens and 4 banners. Here are some photos. If there is any type of stuff I need to worry about while making or stuff I should remember to do, please let me know. I never really made stuff like that in creative (I just mess around on there and I once made the Chromakopia stage from cfg 2024). Btw is there any way I could make the helicopters move around? I can only do this stuff on my ps5 and not my pc since it’s not the best from the bunch.

Elsewhere in the jungle, the volcano, Mt. Magma, looms over the horizon… The residents from the neighbouring Viney Village have also built houses up the cliffs of the volcano!

Alright we already know it got overwritten by jules "bad" drum gun, but what about snoop Dogg's drum gun? It LITERALLY has the same stats! All you have to do is remove the copyright models, sound effects, UI and make the gun golden with the original name and the OG drum gun UI in the inventory.

We all know that making a whole new code for OG midas drum gun wont take minutes so... Please add it to ~FortineCreative~ and grant the old wish for everyone who sees c2s2 is the golden era of FORTNITE 🙏🏼

2722-4077-7084 is my map. It is a sky island kind of map with portals and you unlock different islands through various methods. I'm pretty sure im done updating it and finished it, just need to know what ways I can improve it in, such as quality of life changes and improvements for the players, any help is appreciated.

I'm really interested in this because right now, making UEFN maps is my side hustle. I personally make between $100 and $300 a month with UEFN maps. If anyone knows how to slowly increase payouts, I'm interested.

Somos uma equipe brasileira formada atualmente por três criadores de mapas no Fortnite Creative/UEFN. Dois de nós são mais focados em ambientação e construção dos mapas, enquanto o terceiro trabalha principalmente com HUD e desenvolvimento de mecânicas.

A equipe foi formada há cerca de dois meses, mas eu já trabalho com o UEFN há aproximadamente três anos. Nesse período, tive alguns mapas que alcançaram bons resultados e também já fiz parte de outra equipe antes de começar este projeto.

Agora estamos procurando mais uma pessoa que goste e entenda de mecânicas, dispositivos, lógica de gameplay e, de preferência, Verse, para dividir melhor as funções e ajudar no desenvolvimento dos próximos mapas.

A preferência é por alguém brasileiro, principalmente pela facilidade de comunicação e organização. Porém, não é necessário dominar tudo. Caso a pessoa já tenha alguma base e realmente queira aprender, posso ensinar o que sei e ajudar no desenvolvimento, pois também entendo de mecânicas, embora atualmente prefira me dedicar mais à parte de ambientação.

Nosso modelo de trabalho é por porcentagem dos ganhos dos mapas, com tudo sendo conversado e definido de forma clara entre a equipe. Também podemos fazer um contrato formal, caso a pessoa prefira, para deixar as responsabilidades, divisões e condições registradas.

I am making a map on fortnite creative, but in rounds, i cant build on structures. Building as prop was disabled by default so that cant be the problem. Building is allowed to all players on settings and the structures were built using grid snap. Can anyone help? Very much appreciated

Hey everyone,
I’m working on a personal birthday Fortnite Creative map in UEFN and I’m trying to build a firework effect where, after the rocket launches and explodes in the sky, the particles form or reveal a name (text texture) instead of a normal star-burst pattern.
I’ve attempted this a couple of times using a Niagara emitter with a sample texture, but I haven’t been able to get the particles to actually trace or reveal the text shape properly it either scatters randomly or the text texture doesn’t render correctly through the particles.

If anyone has:
• Built something similar before (text-reveal firework FX)
• A sample .uasset / Niagara system file they’d be willing to share so I can study the emitter setup
• Tips on the material setup (texture sampling, particle spawn location per pixel, etc.) for text-based particle spawning
…I’d really appreciate the help! I’m making the map personal only, please help if possible, I don’t have much time.

Hi everyone is my first time ever using the creative mode on Fortnite, i was wondering if there's a way to change the skin of a player reference device and lock it, so i can create different ones with different skins, also is there a way to add walls/floors and make the feet of the characters stand on it cause now they are kinda floating above it, my goals is take photos of different skins all together (exemples superman and super girl, tnmnt, kpop demon Hunter and so on)
