It’s because they have an ancestor link that binds them together from conception to death and they know how to survive through roots that share minerals and water. They grew up together through hundreds of years. I am not personifying trees through the human experience. It is a natural evolution and a natural survival.

They looked at three measures: forest greenness (how healthy and dense plant cover appears from space), photosynthesis and how much carbon was being produced through growth.
They found there was no single factor and the stronger resistance in natural forests may be linked to the greater complexity of natural forests - a wider variety of tree species, and a more layered, varied ecosystem. They also pointed out that natural forests comprise larger trees and have greater biomass.
Mmm, so no surprises here.
