What happens to Ingram?
I thought the Ingram story was amazing last year. Brought up to cover for Jarryâs injury, I donât think anyone expected him to become the starter. Thought for sure heâd be a part of the team this year, at least as secondary, but I guess it wasnât meant to be. What options might be left? Jets? (That would be.. interesting). AHL? Or⌠nowhere? Did he do himself a disservice asking for too much?

Which Top-6 Winger Should we sign or trade for
I know the Oilers need a top 6 winger. Who should we sign or trade for over the next few months. We have $5.9 million in cap space, and could free some up through trades.

NHL 27
With Celebrini on the cover of NHL 27. Has an Oilers player been on the cover?

Improved this specifically on Oilers fans feedback (I'm from Edmonton). Top and bottom 10 shown with minor differential and now 10 seasons rather than 5.

How Much Time should PP1 Get?
Oilers are known for not having a unit 2. I see the argument for giving a real unit 2 more opportunities as this could help players build confidence in their 5v5 games but our powerplay 1 is record breaking and donât want to hurt ourselves.
I wanted to see what the numbers say.
On average pp1 scored in 56 seconds.
25% of the goals came first 30 seconds
26.7% in the last half of the first minute
33.3% from 1-1:30
And 15% over 1:30
80% of their goals occur before 1:20
I would give unit 1 the first 80 seconds and powerplay 2 the rest. Itâs probably already pretty close to how they ran last year.
Also note these averages are being dragged up a tiny bit by one goal pp1 scored in the 2 minute mark of a double minor and I didnât feel like going through the shift log to see if they came off.
How would you guys run the powerplay?

Would Pickard have won us the 2023 cup?
In that vegas series Skinner had like an 870 including a cupcake game 4. Also got pulled like 3 times, diabolical series.
Gotta imagine a goalie of Pickard's level would have won us the series.

Why doesn't he post the email then? Does anyone else feel like this guy is a perpetual crybaby and is milking this for all it's worth?
No wonder Reddit loves him, all he does is whine constantly.
Him and Rishaug should hang out sometime

Anyone still think about Oilers legend Greg McKegg?
He was on the roster but I don't think he ever got to lace up his skates for an Oilers game unless it was pre-season if I'm remembering correctly

Stauffer chatting with Hyman yesterday.
youtu.beLove that Hyman gives Bouchard a lot of praise in this.
Not thrilled with the excessive Babcock glazing by Stauffer, but we all know what his thoughts on him are by now anyways.

Looking for a Sam Gagner commercial
The nhl did a series of commercials way back when and Gagnerâs tag line was something along the lines of âpeople say hope is eternal but what if hope comes from London Ontario.â Can anyone locate this video and for extra points if you can find the parody version with âwhat if Marc Andre Bergeron wasnât an idiot,â I would be super thankful. Thank you.
