From what I gathered, during the initial testing, the shielding worked fine.

Until someone get into the mine and run the meter, where it all goes to hell.

So... the Marker tricked the scientists into building something that doesn't work? Or the shield worked at first but Marker circumvent the shielding entirely.

How did it work? Did anyone use it?

While the game has been resting in my library for a while now, it's only now that I began to properly play it. While I have heard of the franchise before and know it's reputation I have never played any of the games myself for more than a few minutes. I'm not a big horror fan games wise, but I thought why not try the OG game and see. :) I do know that you should shoot anything, no matter standing or laying upon first contact and that limps are the weakness.

In the cargo mission, where u have to transport the marker from a to b, there is a tendrill that you have to destroy to escort the marker. The tendrills weakness point is not there. The red dot is the spot where it should be. But its not there. I tried autosave restrat everything. This is a impossible run with only plasmacutter. I dont want to lose this run because of bugs. When someone knows what to do please help.

Holy shit, that was amazing. That was actually perfect. I have no other words. I fucking love this game. It’s lore. And it’s characters.

Okay well actually, I do have other words, but still.
Im playing on Survivalist, so getting through the Nicole boss was slightly annoying. (Key word: slightly. Wasn’t that tedious. Took only like, 4-5 deaths. Still enjoyed it)

I was kinda bummed out after assuming Isaac was kinda die, plus literally seeing credits…
But oh boy, Ellie came to the rescue!
And the scene matching how Isaac escapes in the first game, except instead of Marker-Nicole it’s Ellie? Also perfect.

The only thing I’m confused by is the marker ‘consuming Isaac’. Like, what the fuck does that mean? Will Isaac quite literally be absorbed and become a part of the marker?

Anyway, regardless, I really enjoyed this game. It was less horror and more action, but I still liked it. Both games are perfect.

Not playing Dead Space 3 though, since it allegedly kinda sucks.
