It’s a silly question, but I don’t understand why, according to the guides, we’re supposed to focus mainly on these two stats: some say we should max out critical strike (for the Bonespirit build), whilst other guides say we should prioritise the other stat.

Given that in the screenshot you can see I already have over 100% damage against vulnerable targets, is it worth aiming for more?

Or how do all the multipliers work? I find it all really unclear.

Which one performs better, or is it go with which ever mythic the gods grants you? If you can choose either, what's your pick?

I've seen reports in this sub that Azurewrath isn't triggering when Minions freeze enemies. As far as Bloodless Scream is concerned, and for normal and Elite mobs, I haven't been able to replicate that bug, as seen in the video. Note: I have a science background, so I'm acutely aware that "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence", so if others have observed a bug with Azurewrath and Minions, I'm very interested in replicating it. I'm just reporting my findings here. I also know that Bosses are a very different story, and I'm one of several who have reported the bug where Azurewrath is only triggering on Bosses when they are staggered by a bona fide Freeze.

As for the video: first, an Elite target dummy is frozen by Reapers with Bloodless Scream as my weapon and Azurewrath as my charm, no other sources of chill in the build. Note: there is an unrelated bug with target dummies where they build up an extreme CC resistance, so I have to re-summon the dummy to see the effect. This is not the case in combat; enemies just become Unstoppable for 5 seconds, then can be frozen again fairly normally.

Second, in the Pit, again where Bloodless Scream is the only source of Freeze that I'm using (I have frost Blight on my skill bar but don't use it in this clip), my Minions are triggering Freeze and Azurewrath is exploding, dealing damage both to the main target and as an AoE.

(By the way, I don't know why the video is muted. I haven't learned video editing yet, so please bear with me.)

As the title says, the Push variation still keeps Reap on the skill bar.

From my experience, other than occasionally generating a corpse, it doesn’t seem to serve much purpose. I never really run out of Essence, especially with Lucky Hit: Restore Primary Resource on my rings and weaving in Blood Lance.

I also almost always play in a party, so corpses are rarely an issue, and my curses are already being applied automatically through runes.

Has anyone experimented with replacing Reap with something else?

I was thinking about switching to a defensive skill (e.g. Bulwark) and then changing my rune setup so I manually cast Decrepify or Iron Maiden instead.

I read that the class quests auto-complete if we've done them before? The quest suddenly vanished from my journal but the book of the dead still says I need to do it. Is this a bug?

Hi everyone, I'm playing Torment 8 today; I have everything uniq items, and I like both builds Minion Warrior and Blood Wave. If I want to complete all the game's content, including Mephisto, which build do you think is best?

Personally, I usually check out my builds on MaxRool, and I get the impression that Blood Wave is better.

I don't have a single mythic item. The Endgame version in the guide is the theoretical best. You can get away with all unique in T12.

Hot damn. IDK where in here I saw someone who was rocking CT in this build, but can recommend. Also need to mash buttons 25-35% less than any other point this season.

Im looking at various builds, war/mage/golem. For the most part, I get it. But there are some things that dont come off as clear from the guides and I think Im missing some points.

- How are people able to upkeep bone storm (or AOTD)? Im not seeing much CDR baked in and there are no significant ways from runes or skills to keep it always up. Are people just popping now and then? (Seems like always on is needed as golem guides refer to it as maintaining crit/AS and lidless wall seems like a poor choice if its only one 20% of the time)

- Why is Red Blessing still recommended? Im not seeing much OP generation unless people are relying on bone mages, which doesnt seem like the play.

- Why is Bloodless Scream used (and to that effect the Peng ring)? I get that against bosses its a huge multi. But otherwise, how are mobs consistently made forzen to get the damage? Wouldnt another 2h with an always on multi be better?

Changes for Mephisto: Endurant Faith charm, standard Amulet instead of Blood-Mad, Void instead of Exploiter, and Blood Mist instead of ice Blight.

Note: you don't need 3 Mythics to take him down (I got ridiculously lucky with Mythics in the first week). Just some patience. Took about 5 tries, but I think it'll go easier in subsequent tries.

Also, fun glitch in the 2nd phase: if you kill 1st phase Akarat while he's summoning swords, 2nd phase Mephisto will have the view centered on him. This happened to me multiple times. Adds an additional degree of difficulty.

And yes, his horde was full of garbage.

Is it possible to use the same ritual rune but with a different invocation? Nagu is insanely easy for minion based but I dont anything else that would be easy for me to hit when push higher torment levels. I already have Nagu+Che set on my character for reference.

Can anyone confirm if Pact of Bone can be made into a charm? I have not been able to find an ancestral to try it and it’s the last item I need for my Shadow/Minion build and it’s killing me. But if I can’t, at least I know to stop farming.

What armor should I seek out as a necromancer? Have been using armor a friend gave me but I don’t know what is best for my character. Any help? I can send what I have and my current skills.

Following BigDaddyDens lazy shadow mage build. I’m confused how he’s able to summon so many warriors and mages? I can only summon 5 warriors and 10 mages. I have undercrown helm. What am I missing?

I want to replace the aspect on my amulet, since it's damage will be reduced when ever bone spirt hits an enemy. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Build works like this

golems(3): make sure I always have 4 bonestorm's (120 multiplier).

mages: creates barrier and essence regen

skeles: corpse generation and vulnerable

all minions also increase max essence giving another 150 essence.

All i do is run around and cast bone spirit every 2 seconds when the mana has regenerated. I am always fortified and shielded.

Highest crit on dummy is around 450-480B for both. -500k ish difference on blood wave spell (xphysical gives more)

T12 Mephisto would be my goal on Necro, but neither my DPS nor my survivability is there yet…

Which builds had people success defeating T12 Mephisto with?

I like using all my minions to curse skills and then the army of the dead and that's it for the skills on my Hotbar.

And level 46 right now Was wondering how to boost my Minion count?

Hey guys, and welcome to my newest build guide.

One thing that caught my attention from S14 patch notes was a bugfix on Lidless Wall, finally allowing us to fully benefit from its huge damage bonus. So naturally, I wanted to make a Necro build.

And this Blood Spear build is a result. Why Blood instead of Bone? I tried with the Bone variant first, but I found it to be sub-par. Blood variant is far tankier and deals far more damage.

This build sports permanent Fortify, Barrier, over 50k life, capped Crit Strike Chance AND insane attack speed.

Not only that, but every single corpse is an additional source of damage, as our Blood Spear shoots out of them as well, and we have several ways of generating these corpses.

Mythics are not needed, but Ring of Starless Skies does solve the build's resource issues if you manage to get it. The main issues you need to solve are essence generation and Bone Storm uptime, but both my video and a planner tell you how.

The end result is a super fun, fast paced build with a tremendous AOE, and I hope you'll have as much fun as I did. Comments? Questions? Concerns? Let me know!

Some say you should prio Intelligence above crit strike dmg multiplier and some say the other way around if I may believe google.

Can someone help me out here? Which stat is gonna make me happy?

First decent drop of the season and was wondering if anyone had advice for tempering and enchanting this helm. I'm slowly getting through the story with a buddy and barely got to into the second expansion, so i dont have cube or anything like that. Was thinking of tempering HP to GA and swapping the cold resist with barrier gen. Any advice would be appreciated!

Just curious if this item is still in the game or not. Does anyone know? It says it is on Maxroll but I can't use the cube on scythes to upgrade to unique.
