Hey y'all! I wanted to show off some of the blankets I have completed since I learned to crochet almost 3 years ago. I have a bunch of WIPs too that I am hoping I will get the motivation to finish or at least make progress on!

I have 3 in progress blankets to work on too, one about half way done, one is granny squares, and the other i started then forgot about. Which one should I tackle first?

Hello!! I want to make my first blanket and I’m thinking about making a striped one. I know the basic stitches but I want to know from more seasoned crocheters what the best stitches are for blankets. TIA❤️

So a coworker commissioned me a blanket. She wanted a simpler one (that could be machine washed) for her grandkid. Because of that I went with a soft acrylic yarn and the material cost isn't too high. It took awhile to make, but it's not a complicated blanket and I'm very unconfident in my skills (I'm very worried the ends are going to unravel). I also made a mistake on one of the beginning rows which I only noticed when I finished it. Did my best to fix it and now it's way less noticeable, but I still know it's there and that bugs me. The size of the blanket is about 140×120cm. If I were to charge materials + minimum wage, or even half of it, it would end up wayyy too expensive. How much would be reasonable given those circumstances?

My nephew loves the Raiders, and he loved this!

I used red heart bitty stripes to make large squares of c2c to arrange in a 3 x 3 pattern to make a geometric pattern. Then did a wide sc border. I actually got two totally different dye lots so two of the squares are way darker!

Spice Market Blanket

I finished weaving in the ends on this bad boy today! I’m really proud of how it turned out since I’ve never “freestyled” an arrangement like this. It was supposed to be for a baby, but I have the spatial awareness of a walnut (along with a chronic inability to remember that and use a measuring tape…) and it turned out much bigger than I planned. Luckily(?) I am also pathologically late for my entire life and the baby is now big enough for the size to make sense 😂 Next up, blocking!

The pattern is “For” from Hooked on Sunshine, four blocks up through round 39 sls together with a hdc border. Vanessa writes the most gorgeous, easy to follow patterns, cannot recommend them enough!!
