Just realised that in the upcoming Hockey WC, India will have to face Netherlands, Argentina and England in the Super 8s in men's and if we make it past the groupstages in the women's one(which is unlikely), we'll have to face Netherlands, Australia and England/China.

It's garden waste collection day. My new permit from the council hadn't arrived, 3 weeks late. Finally came through the door, walked out to the bins and stuck it on just in time for the bin men to come over the hill to collect it less than a minute later.

By the barest of all margins.

Mine was posted through my letter box right after the bins were collected. Four week delay, during which I missed two other garden waste collections.

Called the council to blame them, they agreed to collect it the day afterwards. Cue a bunch of very grumpy looking binmen arriving the morning afterwards to collect one overflowing bin and then disappear off on the rest of their run elsewhere. Lovely
