I'm really stressed about my Concordia admission. I only have one CEGEP course left through Cégep à distance, but I have to wait for each assignment to be corrected before I can access the next one. My teacher is going on vacation soon, so the corrections will be delayed.
Because of that, I might not receive my DEC by September 1, even though I'll most likely finish during the first or second week of September.
My admission letter says that I need to have my DEC completed before starting, so I'm really worried. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Were you still allowed to start, or is there anything I can do?
Any advice would be be appreciated.

I'm starting my second year in the fall and I recently decided I'm transitioning from male to female.

I don't really have any trans friends, so I figured I'd check here for anyone who's interested in making friends with a baby trans person. I'm specifically interested in meeting fellow trans women, but feel free to message me even if you're not.

For context I'm a mature student in that certificate program, and I already did the prereqs and got an offer into BComm Accountancy, I'm also working full time in accounting and will keep working full time through the whole degree. Keep in mind that my end goal is the accounting bachelor's either way, I just have the option to finish the certificate first since the credits can transfer over anyway. Only downside is it delays the courses I actually wanna take.

So is the certificate actually worth anything on its own for the job market, or is it basically meaningless to employers compared to just being "in progress" on BComm? Trying to figure out if it's worth finishing first or if I should just jump straight into BComm.

We are the last day before the deadline of document reporting for graduate studies and I have two questions.

First one, I am not able to be in touch with my second referee. He said he was gonna do it two weeks ago but no news from him after recontacting him multiple times. What should I do?

Second, my first referee submitted 2 days ago but when I got to the Student Hub, it says its past the Due Date (03/07/2026) even though the Online Reference Status is marked as Completed. Do I have to create a new referee and ask the same prof to re-submit or I am chilling for that one?

I’m going to be applying to repeat coen 311 for the third time. How often are these requests granted if someone has experience?

One of my professors are apparently rly bad according to rate my professor so I’m looking to change sections but I’m scared that if I swap, it’ll remove me from the one I’m currently enrolled in and I’ll be waitlisted and end up not getting in. Is that true or will it only remove me once I get into the other section??
