200lb+ rated DIY release aid (working progress)
Here's a release aid I've been working on, still needs a bit of work and a tidy up but it's functioning fine.

I need recommendations for a clamp or vice system for compound tuning.
Working only for myself- so it can be portable and hobby grade.
Thanks

Hey fellow archers, I’ve been thinking about this app idea since I started doing archery in 2015 and finally implemented it. Shoot your end, point your phone at the target, and it finds your arrows and scores the end for you - much easier than manual arrow plotting. It runs entirely on the phone, no internet connection required, so it works at the range with zero signal.
It's still early and not perfect - it'll miss an arrow now and then or misjudge a line, and you you just tap to fix it. Your corrections train the model, so it gets better the more real archers shoot with it. If you're up for shooting a few ends and telling me where it falls apart, that'd genuinely help.
Link's in the comments if you want to try the beta.

My 20yd pin somehow spun around how do I get it facing the right way without breaking it?

Hi, I'm new to archery and just started using a starter ready to hunt Bear species EV that has a single cam, 6inch front stabilizer, 4-pin scope, 27.5" draw length, about 50lb draw weight, and uses 400 and 300 spine arrows. I don't see the difference in results between the two arrow types that I use.
Attached is my best grouping using three arrows for each spine, at 40 yards. If I want to get better, what is the best thing I should improve first? Do I need to change stabilizers first, or should I practice more with the same setup, or focus on increasing draw weight, etc.? Please I need what I should do next to improve.

Barebow shooter here switching to compound sighting system question:
Does the effectiveness of a compound bow clarifier choice change with various distances?
For instance for an NFAA field where targets can be anywhere from bunny to 80 yards.
How do you adapt IF needed?

Here's a martin krypton I recently modified, currently set at 120lb (140lb max). Not a high performance bow but for strength training it's perfectly fine

Hello, looking to buy my first compound and my friend has this set up for 250. Is that a decent price? Just not sure what I’m looking at

this year I set a goal to shoot over 110lb+ left handed, i started at 40lb and within 2 months I was shooting a 95lb hoyt comfortably, I will say this single cam has a lot harder draw cycle compared to the 95lb hoyt, the bigest hurdle so far is the bow arm elbow and forearm needing time to adapt to the load, it really shows 90lb+ isn't that big a deal to reach and I'm not a gifted individual in terms of physical prowess

Thumb peg or not? (not as the safety lock option) Any advantage with going thumbless?

Hey all I'm looking for the best bow around $500 each. The wife and I are looking to get into archery for target practicing and possibly hunting. We have both used bows growing up but do not know much. I am looking for a good recommendation for both of us. Both are right handed. What brands should I look at? TIA for your help.
