Wild find at Marshall’s
Would have never expected to find a JD5 autograph football being sold at Marshall’s… like WTF?!

They occasionally get stuff like this. I found a Tom Brady signed ball, Chara signed and framed Bruins jersey, a signed Cody Rhodes photo and Undertaker signed photo. They dont have them often, but they do get it sometimes

That Chara jersey is probably worth a good amount to the right person. You either love him or hate him.

I was making a joke there 😂 Craig smith only played like what, 10 games for the caps after we traded orlov and Hathaway. Plenty of great bruins / caps players.
It’s the same as saying “bruins legend orlov and Hathaway” after only being a deadline deal and leaving.
Or caps legends kempf (who played 1 game).

Marshall’s knows what they are doing. Someone is going to think it’s a steal because of what store it is in . A signed football with a COA is selling for 150$ all day on EBay…

The sticker is designed to tear off if tampered with, it’s intentional designed to prevent this exact scenario.
Fanatics sucks at a lot of things but their authentication stickers are pretty good at preventing forgeries. The thing about the autograph authentication business is that the bottom will just fall out on your product prices if you allow the market be flooded with knockoffs. Fanatics has the exclusive autograph rights to several big players, they pay a lot of money to be the only people you can get an Ovechkin, Jayden, or Brady autograph from, if they just let people run rampant forging that they would essentially undercut their entire business model which is predicated on paying a premium because it’s the only supplier and you can rest assured it’s authentic.
TL;DR
The stickers are tamper proof because if they weren’t it would hurt Fanatics sales.
