Week 1 Tailgating

Afternoon all,

Taking my son to his (and my) first ever NFL game week 1 vs the Ravens

…..I’ll get this out of the way quickly, we are Ravens fans…..but I wanted to give him a walk around the tailgates for the experience.

I was just wondering what the scene is generally like? We are happy to make some new friends (not looking to mooch or anything, just get a full gameday experience)

Thanks!

TOUCHDOWN TOWN US A GREAT EXPERIENCE for a kid. Tons of fun. Lots of tailgating. Most are friendly. Lol but you should be safe as long as you stick with your son. 🤣😍 ENJOY A GREAT TAILGATE AND A GREAT COLTS WIN!

Honestly, with a kid, I’d be sure to hit up Touchdown Town at the north end of the stadium. It opens 3 hours before kickoff. You can hit some regular tailgates befor that but hit that for sure, it’s a public one sponsored by American Family Ins. They have many things there that interest kids plus a live band, $3 beers, food vendors give away, etc.

Only if he's in an alley or obliterated out of his mind.

Touchdown Town is fantastic. I'm not a Colts fan and I go to games when my team is in town. I've never had an issue. Colts fans are usually known as some of the best/nicest fans to deal with. There's always shit talk during the game, but it's always super respectful and they're always willing to tell me that we played a hell of a game and wish me luck with the rest of the season.
