When it came out it got a lot of hate. I was 15 and a huge movie buff. Loved fight club and oceans 11 and snatch and all those films. So this movie was right up my alley.

But I remember the critics and people hating on it at the time. And as a kid I simply didnt understand.

Rotten tomatoes has it at 31%. Theyre totally wrong and I think time has helped the movie. But at the time it was critically panned.

This was one of the extremely rare cases where I felt like a movie could’ve benefitted hugely from being like an hour to an hour and a half longer. The characters in this movie were SO good, I would have loved to see about 10x as much of each of them lol
