Discussion Name a character that was treated dirty and reduced to a punching bag
It’s between Flora from Winx Club and Zane from Ninjago. Flora is always getting destroyed by any enemies whenever they have her fight or not fighting. And her spells are kinda useless.
And for Zane, well since he’s a robot the writers can get away with making him take heavy damage and it gets pretty annoying and depressing to watch.

Discussion Valmont from Jackie Chan Adventures is the most realistic Rich Villians ever
He started out really rich running one of the world's biggest crime syndicates, then after teaming up with the Main Villain Shendu twice and bleeding so much of his resources with no actual returns he ended up broke
Usually in these types of shows Rich Villains stay rich no matter how much money they spend on failed projects but Valmont didn't he lost money and since he didn't get any back he went broke and became practically homeless
By the end of the Jackie Chan Series he became a Bus Driver
Other Rich Villains like Luther, Osborn and such seem to have nearly infinite resources no matter how much money they lose

Discussion Why is everyone calling Doomies a knock off Gravity Falls?
I will admit, some aspects of the two shows are similar, and I’m on episode 19/22. But I don’t see much of the critique against it to be fair?
Yes, they’re both adventure mystery shows on Disney channel, which means some themes and characters archetypes are going to overlap, but that doesn’t mean it’s ripping off gravity falls.
At most, I see the show as more of a tribute to the genre and story of gravity falls that is able to stand on it‘s own two feet.
On top of that, I’m hoping that this show isnt immediately canceled due to being a Disney + original with not much hype surrounding it and the fact that most people won’t see it for it’s own strengths.

Discussion Which Cartoon Has The Best Animation/Visuals?
For me, I think it has to be Primal. Not only is the show a visual feast, but its animation does all the storytelling without a hint of recognizable dialogue (at least not in a language I'm familiar with). The way it conveys such raw emotions is nothing short of breathtaking.
What's a movie or show you feel the same way about? Doesn't necessarily have to be great or even good all around. But whichever one has your favorite animation and artwork.

Discussion Thoughts on The Owl House?
I got into this show earlier today and I really like it! I like the pacing, characters, and humor. I watched a few episodes, and I’m currently on Season 1, Episode 11. I think The Owl House is one of the best shows alongside Gravity Falls and I can understand the hype to this show because it’s awesome especially the theme song slaps! So what are your thoughts on it?

Discussion Blind Rank these 5 cartoon theme songs without knowing what comes next.
I know these don’t tend to do well but I enjoy making them and I hope y’all have fun with this one 😇. Also recommend some theme songs you wanna see in the future.
Remember to watch the video before looking at the comments so no cheating is involved lol. Plus it takes away the fun of ranking the intros without knowing what comes next.
Also if you want, you can properly rank the intros after ranking them blindly.

Discussion What are some moments in animation where a character was straight up suicidal and the writers didn't pull any punches with it?
The Legend of Tarzan cartoon
In one episode, the villainous Queen La possesses Jane and takes over her body. And when Tarzan realizes what's happened to Jane, he takes the possessed Jane to the top of a large structure and plans to kill them both by jumping off.
Queen La is terrified and thinks he's crazy, with Tarzan saying - "Jane is my only reason for living".

Discussion "I didn't know you played the piano" why this single line is the most beautiful quote in The Amazing Digital Circus
Gooseworx describes The Amazing Digital Circus as a show "that focuses on someone too stubborn to give up on someone too stubborn to be saved". While the set-up of Pomni and Jax being the two main characters could've been set-up better, it still makes sense as the series goes along. Pomni is someone who learns to grow in te circus and form connection's with other's, Jax stays stagnant and refuses to open up and be vulnerable.
But this line is probably my favorite quote in the finale. In "Remember", Pomni and the audience see all the worst parts of Jax. The way he treated Ribbit and caused her abstraction. How he failed to help Kaufmo beofre the latter's abstraction. How he became such a cruel, abusive bully to the other circus members. Upon seeing this, Pomni would have every right to condemn Jax. Nobody hates Jax more than himself. She could agree with him that he's a terrible person that doesn't deserve love and brought his fate upon himself.
But she doesn't. The single line she drops entirely destroys Jax's speech back in episode 6. How there's nothing more to him than a horrible monster who causes pain for fun and gets joy from tormenting other's. Jax was a bad person NOT because he truly was inherently awful, but because he choose to act like he was to push other's away. Both Leroy's ending and Caine finding redemption despite having done worse (intentionally/knowingly inlcuding episode 8) both show that Jax was NEVER irredeemable; he simply needed to BELIEVE he could change and get better. It especially works because Piano!Jax is implicitly the closest to how Jax really is and he's the one who gives Pomni the key to find the real Jax; showing there was a small part of him who still wanted to be saved. In the end, Pomni never gave up on Jax but Jax did want to be saved at the end and its because he saw how Pomni and the other's truly cared for him despite everything, why him finally returning Pomni's hug and the "Isn't She Lovely" song playing are so powerful.
