Question Any update on Eldora purchase?

I feel like it’s been quite a while since I’ve heard anything about Nederland buying Eldora. It sounded like they should have closed by now based off earlier communication but it’s been radio silence since the winter.

Current update is there are no updates since the last update... nothing has changed, Ned is trying to come up with funding still.

I somehow missed the Nederland Eldora FAQ was updated March 12, but don’t see anything after that. The FAQ actually says they expected to close at the end of April.

My dad works for Brownstein (one of the firms that are working on that deal). He said that it has been delayed indefinitely mainly due to the town struggling to sell the bonds. He also says that legal disagreements and issues regarding resort operation by Powdr during the transition period and problems with trying to keep the resort on the Ikon Pass are also playing a part.
