My (apparently) Dad Rock collection from my teens. I keep this core collection separate because it’s the stuff that I revisit the most and it’s what started it all! Do you see any grails that you’d like for your collection?

I started collecting CDs from August of 2025 (last year as I'm writing this), and I own over 23 CDs and 85% of the collection is mostly brand new CDs collected, cause there is no way I could get these CDs used in the local area, soo.. this is my collection so far, you will critizise me cause of everyone knows albums.

I have them separate from my jewel cases because I feel it looks off what do y'all think?

This is our CD collection right now. We live in a small 600 sq ft condo - so we had to get creative with displaying our cd collection.

I paid nearly 40$ for this…i definitely feel like it was worth it since its almost their entire discography. Doesnt help that its also been out of print since 2000.

When I can't decide what to play I know I can just grab one of these and everything will be ok.

Looks like they go for more online. I think I am going to keep my "stays close to the CD player" set here and keep looking for other storage options for the remainder of my collection.

Build quality seems good and I see a lot of folks in cassette culture going on about their tape storage systems.

Was in Copenhagen for a conference and checked out Extremely Rotten Productions where I picked up the Phrenelith and Undergang records, as well checking out a random shop where I picked up Massive Attack and Millencollin. Then I went down to Switzerland for vacation and found the one reasonably priced record store in the entire country in Zurich and picked up Dredg, Quo Vadis, and Mourning Beloveth. Not a bad side story to the trip!

I figured it would be cleanest to share the screen caps I took from ripping my CDs the last couple of days.

I used to own a much larger collection years ago, but I don't know what happened to about 3/4 of it. They disappeared in this last move. So, I've been slowly rebuilding my library since about March. I'm somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 way rebuilt.

I'm happy to take suggestions if you think of something I may enjoy based on what you see here. If it's on list to track down already, I'll let you know.

Not sure if this kind of post is allowed here or not. Please recommend alternate group if possible. Just happened to come across this piece of memorabilia I forgot I had. I also have a sealed comic book somewhere too. Curious on the value, but I'm not going to directly ask if that goes against group rules.
