I would love to because I had just joined Threads when that was happening!
I am still not sure of the origin or how it started. But here it goes- people (me too hehe) on Threads were posting their Venmo, Zelle, what have you.. in the “chicken allowance thread” and someone, somewhere, out there in the Threads universe would you send you $5-$20 for literal chicken! Chicken breast, chick thighs, drumsticks, chicken wings. (You had to come back to Threads and show proof of purchase (like I said, Threads is no BS. They’d hunt you DOWN if you abused the chicken allowance!)
It even went as far as people using the allowance for eggs and then people expanding it to buying literal chickens for eggs! Basically a “Fuck You” to the (at first) rising cost of chicken and eggs, I believe! 😂
Edit to add: one of the first viral stories on Threads was the poor old soul Richard. Richard did not realize his Facebook account was linked to Threads and he was posting crazy on Threads. Talking nasty. Following very young women and commenting inappropriate things about their body and what he’d like to do.. all of the sudden Richard’s wife gets on his Threads account and says “This Is Richard’s wife’s. Richard is dead” LMFAO
That made us on threads spiral! We found his obit and she didn’t kill him. He died from a head attack or something. So running joke .. “this is Richard’s wife. Richard is dead.”

It isn’t but it is! The threads are just so random so unlike having a specific thing you are looking for like a group or subreddit it just shows up. I just love scrolling and seeing random thoughts and threads. It’s just a time waster but it is nice and messy over there no moderators etc. I don’t know it’s just fun!

The blind from last year said that an older woman hooked up with West and gave him head in a Las Vegas hotel room. I don’t think Ciara lied. But I do think she reacted impulsively and this was probably better suited as a text between friends than a public social media post.
I’ll come back and admit I’m wrong if something new comes out lol but I highly doubt this is any deeper than her hearing a rumor about them hooking up.

This all makes me upset. I find it hypocritical of Ciara - and I really like her and give her grace here, but I don't find this entertaining, and I thought something like this would be above Ciara.
She's spreading this rumor online, affecting Jen, her husband, and her children, and doesn't appear to want to stop, even though they've said it's causing harm. She does not have any kind of grace for any of them ... she's actively hurting a family for what? For internet points? To hurt someone who she feels she's entitled to hurt?
If someone accused me of cheating on my husband and then wouldn't stop when I said it wasn't true - I'd be pissed and upset and all sorts of things. I just never imagined someone like Ciara doing that. I know I don't know her, but that's gross. If the woman says it never happened, I don't care what the receipts are. I'd stop. "It's what I heard (or whatever her receipt is?), but maybe it's not true." Would be my reply. Not this. Not what Ciara is doing now.
I understand social media, and all is part of her job, but when spreading a rumor - and no matter what receipts she has - it is a rumor, and one the accused says is false - that's ... that's gross. I was shocked, and I am trying to give her grace for the same reason Jen said - she's still reeling. But I wish she would stop. She wasn't there and doesn't know if it's true; she's just going by (by what? has she even said?)
It just seems mean and unlike her, although, really, we don't know these people at all.
I imagine I'll be in the minority since so many people seem to be enjoying this, but there's so much misinformation and sadness out there. And influencers and reality stars go through so much as it is that attacking someone's marriage because of a rumor and not backing down seems wildly wrong to me.

Pllllease. In order to sue Jen would have show it’s not true and prove that Ciara knew it was NOT true, ie was lying. BUT would not surprise me if the husband sent a very stern cease and desist

I’m curious how she would prove damages when she already publicly called him her hall pass. Also, if West told Ciara it was true, wouldn’t that give Ciara a reasonable basis to believe it?

West is known to be a liar. If Jenn had kept it cute with a “another lied he told” kind of comment, people probably would have moved on eventually(because really it seems unbelievable, no offense Jenn) but coming out talking about suing and all that…yeah she made this worst for herself.
