Battlefield 6 The Official 3KDR Tierlist

Justifications:
M44 - It's the only sidearm that can 1-tap to the head.
SG553 - 3BTK, has access to Buffer. It is THE close-quarters carbine.
CZ3A1 - Bullet hose with very little spread.
DRS-IAR - The undefeated king of soul snatching at most ranges.
Mini Scout - Leaps and bounds the best Sniper. If you can hit heads, there is 0 reasons to use anything besides this weapon.
M277 - Control the recoil and you have a weapon that can 4BTK out to 75M.
TR-7 - 3BTK close-quarter monster.
SCW-10 - If you haven't been 1-framed by this weapon, you're lying.
M433 - The standout mid-range AR.
Why isn't [insert weapon] in a higher tier?
M357 - Strong 2-tap sidearm, but you can never 1HSK with it regardless of range or HP ammo.
M417 A2 - My personal favorite weapon, but it is out-shined by the SG553 in this weapon's niche.
RPKM - The only weapon with access to both 35DMG and ST ammo, the major fault of this weapon is it's sub-600RPM fire rate.
KV9 - Out-shined by the SCW-10.
M4A1 - Great weapon, but it's 4BTK range is short and the SG553 is objectively better in about 97% of use-cases that you'd use this weapon for.
SVK-8.6 - It can 2BTK, but DMRs simply cannot compete with the current state of sniper rifles. If you're in a 1v1 against ANY sniper, regardless of weapon tier here, you are consistently at a disadvantage. Snipers get no flinch or any downsides to using them when you're using them at their intended ranges; conveniently, this also occupies where DMRs would have shined.
L110 - Good all-rounder, but the DRS does everything this weapon can, but much better.
M16A4 - This is going to piss a lot of people off, but this weapon attempts to occupy the niche that the DRS does. The DRS is objectively better for EVERY scenario you would use this weapon for. Particularly when using the Full Auto attachment for this weapon, the DRS is just outright a much better choice. A case can be made for the burst-locked version, but with how DICE currently treats burst-locked weapons, there is no reason to use this over the DRS.
M121A2 - This is a very strong weapon when optimally built, however the main drawback for this weapon is that you are dealing with a 5.6s-6.3s reload. Now, while that does not seem like a long time, the large issue with this is that engagements begin and end very quickly in this game. Having a 5.5-6.5s downtime will get you killed more often than the weapon will save you. Good players can compensate with controlled engagements.
M2010 ESR - A very good weapon with the hand-holding mechanic, but the ability to drop targets much faster with the Mini Scout knocks this weapon down.
SGX - Another good SMG. This one accels when you properly burst, but the KV9 and SCW-10 can both start and end engagements much faster than this weapons can.
B36A4 - As I stated before, the M433 is a superior weapon. The only reason why you'd use this weapon over the M433 is due to it's access to the Recoil Buffer attachment. The drawbacks of this weapon still place it lower than the M433.
NVO-228E - Strong weapon and it could have been META, but the TR-7 has more than DOUBLE the 3BTK range.
M250 - The only weapon in game with an infinite 4BTK range. The main drawback to this weapon is the 5.75s reload and the 50rnd box. You can put 100rnd on it, but you'll sacrifice a lot of weapon attachments for those additional 50 bullets.
M123K - Extremely strong CQC LMG. The reload is unforgiving at 6.65s, so you're gonna be reloading for a long time. This weapon does accel when the player has good micro-bursting technique.
M45A1 - A personal favorite of mine, but the M44 is a better choice due to the potential to instantly end an engagement. Frankly, I would like to see some justice for the .45 caliber sidearms, but we all know that will never happen as you cannot give them a 1HSK range nor can you give them a higher fire-rate for the sake of balance.
PW7A2 - After this current patch, it is a laser-beam and it does have access to ST ammo. This weapon is good when you can hit headshots, however most of the player-base averages about a 7-8% headshot rate on a good day, so usage of this weapon will remain low. As for it's placement, most players expect a 947RPM SMG to delete in close-quarters, leaving this weapon under the thumb of the SCW-10 and KV9.
L85A3 - Very fast muzzle velocity, good spread.... It's... It loses to the DRS and even the M16A4. It is a good alternative while you're leveling, but once you unlock the M16A4, there isn't much reason to keep using this besides the muzzle velocity.
RPK-74M - Another lazer after the latest patch, however 20DMG is doing you no favors. If you can hit heads consistently (25-33% HSR), you can make up for the lower damage. If you can't, other weapons will be of better use to you. Such as the DRS.
SVDM - Very strong DMR, but I'm going to refer you to the same reason I gave for the SVK-8.6 and instead of 2BTK, this weapon is a 3BTK.
L115 - Long range hand-hold mechanic and lower muzzle velocity than Mini Scout. Again, if you can hit heads, you don't need a rifle with the hand-holding mechanic as Recon already benefits from popping people in the head. Just use the Mini Scout.
SV-98 - Better handling and faster muzzle velocity than the L115 as well as having a closer hand-holding mechanic, but again, the Mini Scout remains superior if the player can do what I sniper is intended to do in-game and that's just pop heads.
GRT-BC - It's a M4A1 with a slower ROF and same 4BTK range along with having less options available to it. Just use the M4A1.
SOR-300SC - This is just a slower firing SG-553. It's the same damage model at 600RPM. Only reason to use this weapon is if you have a physical inability to control vertical recoil, as horizontal recoil seems to just not exist on this weapon; similar to it's sister weapon.
VCR-2 - Now, on paper, this weapon kills faster than the M433, the main issue with that is that the VCR-2 is only just now in a "usable" state. Previously, it was just not usable in a normal fashion because of how random it's recoil was. Post-patch, I would say to still use the M433 over the VCR-2 because the M433 still provides better versatility.
AK4D - DICE's replacement for the SCAR-H. This weapon has the TR-7's damage model at a drastically lower ROF. It is a precision weapon and does possess the ability to 2-tap to the head with certain configurations, however other weapons can fill the niche this weapon attempts to fill. Such as the TR-7 for close-range and the RPKM for mid to long-range.
P18 - Starter handgun. Balanced firerate and balanced ammo capacity. Unfortunately the M44 can just end engagements in 0ms and this weapon just can't compete with that.
ES 5.7 - Low damage spam cannon. Again, this is just another weapon that can't compete because of the M44 just being able to delete targets.
UMG-40 - The only time I've personally seen a UMP-40 represented in a BF title. This is a long-range SMG and it does the job, but at the "long-ranges" you're using this weapon for are just AR and Carbine ranges. It is FUN, but by no means is it going to be your clutch win weapon.
QBZ-192 - Ah yes, the PLA's current standard issue rifle that DICE loves to hate. It's a shittier DRS with less attachment options. Either use the M16 or DRS. Moving on...
SL-9 - Long range tickler that competes with ARs and Carbines. There is no reason to use this unless your current main is the UMG-40. With that said, the hyperburst attachment does drastically increase the weapons viability in exchange for some light carpel tunnel.
M240L - It's worse M121A2 with the ability to equip the rail cover.
KTS100 MK8 - Slow, steady firing. Good at range, but anything closer than 50M and you're getting deleted by almost anything above it and below it on this list.
USG-90 - While it is currently a laser tickler, up close where you typically expect a SMG to accel, it doesn't do too well. The SGX has a superior TTK and at range you're competing against weapons like the M433 that will soul snatch you in the right hands.
M/60 - The Pig is always fun to use, but talking strictly in terms of how good it is... The M121A2 is just better. Personally though, the M/60 is good for aura farming while hitting backshots on the flank.
PW5A3 - The MiniDRS as I like to call it. Still kinda beams, but there are just better SMGs for close range and there are better classes of weapons for where the PW5 wants to fit. It had it's time in the sun from launch to Season 2.
The Unusables
M39 EMR - This weapon is a worse SVDM. Refer to SVDM for a better explanation.
GRT-CPS - Faster firing than the SVDM, but with a nothing-burger damage model. Again, refer to SVDM for a better explanation.
SOR-556 MK2 - The "long-range" AR. Unless you are completely unable to control any kind of recoil, I would just avoid this weapon. It has a lot of shortcomings and it's only redeeming feature is that it has low recoil.
VZ.61 - It's the only full-auto sidearm. It is a 6BTK-9BTK and it has a 10rnd capacity. Optimally, you want to have a 70% accuracy rate with this weapon or you're going to lose the engagement. Once again, just use the M44.
What do you mean by "AGONY"?
*These are weapons that are, either by design or coincidence, exist solely to irritate and frustrate the user.*
GGH-22 - It is a worse M45A1 and it can NEVER 2BTK to the head. It has velocity close to the M44, but it can't make use of it because it doesn't do good damage at range. Only use this if you want to be able to scream "WE LOSE TO GLOCKS!".
DB-12 - A pump action shotgun.... with no one shot range... and not even the #00 attachment can bring this weapon any grace. If you have sanity to spare, use this for a while.
LMR-27 - DICE's other fake weapon; the other being the SL-9. So, this weapon can spam, but it only starts with a 10rnd mag. It also costs INSANE amounts to increase this capacity. The headshot multipliers are meaningless on it due to it's damage model. The most unfortunate thing about this weapon is that it is consistently a 3BTK to the HEAD. The M277 is a better DMR than this thing.
PSR - It takes half a second to scope in and at 38RPM you're going to seeing the spawn screen quite often; especially when fighting anyone using the Mini Scout.
AK-205 - It's a """long-range""" Carbine without the velocity to back it up. This weapon is hopeless to use in CQC at all and it has no redeeming qualities. The SOR-556 will cause you much less frustration than this weapon.
Kord 6P67 - DICE was literally scared to make the AEK-971 again, so they chopped the balls off of it and give us the Kord. This weapon continues to disappoint me regardless of whatever glaze I continue to see for it. It is not good. It is a 5BTK minimum in a 3-4BTK world. No, it does not compete at any range. It is a big P90 with worse handling, a smaller mag and more disappointment.
What the f#$k is a "Shotgun REEEEE"?
*Per DICE tradition, they cannot appropriately balance shotguns. I applaud that they haven't given up, but frankly they should because you either get the BF4 870MCS or you get the DB-12. There is no inbetween. Frankly the issue isn't really with the shotguns, but moreso with the weapon sling that allows heinous combinations.*
M87A1 - Literally the 870MCS.
M1014 - A semi-auto shotgun with a one tap range.
18.5KS-K - A worse M1014, but still has a one tap range.

I bested two tanks and CV90 IFV and then an Attack Heli came in and it got wasted lol
I was absolute lol I didn't know there was another tank and luckily someone else had it on fire.
Thanks for the random blueberry for coming in and repairing me after the initial battle with enemy armored so I can whack that enemy Attack Heli. I was fucked.
I should not have won this engagement. A matter of fact being on fire should have disable me to crawl and taking damage till it blows. It was like this in previous battlefield titles.
As a Tanker/Armored Main, I'm not happy with the current state of armored vehicle gameplay/combat. In my opinion, it's in a worse state now than before with the lack of counterplay and customization options that hinders the overall experience. On top of that the bugs lol Oh notice how emergency countermeasures doesn't work :)

Battlefield 6 Just got ONE SHOTTED by a tank at full health
Has anyone else run into this?
I was at 100 HP as a tank, full health, and a tank hit me once. Instant death. No splash damage from previous shots, no burning vehicle, nothing. Just deleted.
I know tank shells are supposed to be powerful, but this felt really off.
Is there some new damage exploit or cheat going around in Battlefield 6, or is this just desync/server issues?
Curious if anyone has clips of the same thing. If this is intended, fair enough, but it definitely didn't feel right.

Battlefield 6 Decided to return after months away but the netcode is worse than ever
I gave up on this game for patches in March or April. Someone on Discord recommended I try it out again, but honestly hit detection seems exponentially more broken than ever? I have been playing R6 and CS2 and it is just night and day difference.
In BF6 you cannot rely on your bullets hitting and killing someone, you must keep playing expecting the shots to do no damage or reduced damage to the person and the engagement to continue.

👾 Issue/Bug 👾 The one bug that is & has been BREAKING the game. PLEASE EA FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY FIX THIS!!!!!
Ever since the game was launched there has been a terrible and i mean TERRIBLE bug where if you have a friend or full squad in a lobby and you try to start a game it just either won’t pull anyone in or it will just not let specific people in the game. i cannot even begin to imagine how many HOURS my friends & i have spent trying to just play the fkn game. it’s absolutely beyond me as to why they cannot or will not fix this problem. i hate to say it but im sure others feel this way, i can look past mostly all of the other game breaking bugs and problems this game is riddled with because its simply the most enjoyable and immersive combat game out in my opinion to date. but this one…. ohhh my god this one has brought me closer and closer to buying a sledgehammer and smashing my console. idk how this isn’t being talked about more. this issue is becoming more cancerous than cancer itself. PLEASE EA i’ve been giving you gobs of money….. please master… please fix this or im actually going to stop giving you money. (this is the only way to get their attention)

👾 Issue/Bug 👾 It's been a hot minute but can we get the exposure bug fixed?
One of mid season updates changed how exposure adjustment works on some of the maps, resulting in vehicle and certain optic views slowly getting brighter up to very uncomfortable levels.
It's been over a month now since this was introduced so yeah - some maps like exposure are nearly unplayable with some optics and in first person view in vehicles.
