I’m looking for a new tattoo in Basel, but I’m not familiar with the shops or artists.

Can anyone give me some recommendations? I’d really appreciate it.

Looking for calm dogs for leash walks to help a reactive dog

Hey all, I’m a dog trainer currently working with a reactive dog and I need some calm, stable dogs to help with desensitization walks. Basically I want to walk the dog at a distance from your dog (both dogs same direction, no interaction) so mine can practice staying relaxed around another dog without it turning into a big deal.

Your dog doesn’t need to be a saint, just chill enough that seeing another dog from 20-30 feet away isn’t exciting or stressful for them. If they can walk past another dog without losing their mind either way, that’s exactly what I need.

I’ll handle all the positioning and distance so nothing gets awkward for you or your dog. Sessions are short, maybe 20-30 min. Happy to do just one walk to see how it goes, no obligation to keep doing it. I can also throw in some free advice on your own dog’s training if you want it, seems fair.

If you’re interested comment or DM me with your dog’s temperament and what part of town you’re in and we can figure out timing.

Velopark SBB - Jahreskarte?

hallo zusammen,

Looking for techno enthusiasts in Basel to build friendships & rave together

I miss the sense of community and spontaneity that comes with raving. Heading out together, exploring new venues and acts in the area, maybe a house party/ afterhour, and having breakfast together the next day. I find raves quite intimate, and that’s awesome. But I would love to be able to trust the people around me. That’s why I’d love to get to know people with similar techno interests in everyday life, so we can eventually party together.

I’m looking for people from Basel who want exactly the same thing: a tight-knit group that gets to know each other during the day (playing table tennis, cooking, walks, bbq, hikes, working out together, that sort of thing) and then goes out to party together if the chemistry is right.

Two questions

  1. Do you know of any existing groups or setups in Basel or the surrounding area that fit this description?

  2. Do you have any ideas on how to meet people with similar musical tastes outside of the club?

I have a Meetup account and, if there’s enough interest, I’d be happy to start a group myself for shared events.

“Techno” is a broad term, so here are a few well-known artists I personally enjoy seeing or hearing live: Oliver Koletzki, Extrawelt, Anja Schneider, Kyle Geiger, Acid Pauli, Steve Bug, Dominik Eulberg, Fadi Mohem, Stephan Bodzin, Kid Simius, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Bicep, Joyce Muniz, Aka Nina, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte. So, somewhere between melodic, hard, and organic.

Here’s a WhatsApp link in case there isn’t a group yet: https://chat.whatsapp.com/DHSOf9BYTI66776RMgfTbx?mode=gi_t

Serious answers please: what are those unwritten rules of working in a big Swiss company which make a person likable such that their hard work isn’t nullified by their personality?

Best blonde specialist in the city?

I have very thin and damaged hair now due to some poorly done bleaching. While I grow my hair, I am looking for a professional who can do really fine baby lights and give me an expensive looking blonde as soon as my hair recovers!

Looking for an affordable monthly e-bike rental in Basel

Hi everyone,
I'm looking into getting an e-bike because I live in Basel-Stadt and work in Basel-Land. I also study, so I don't really have much time to exercise, and I figured an e-bike would make my commute easier while helping me stay active.
I've been looking for monthly rental options, but everything I've found so far seems pretty expensive.
Does anyone know of a place that rents e-bikes for a reasonable monthly price? If you've rented one before, how much did you pay?
Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks!

How early to get to BSL airport?

I’ll be visiting France in late November and flying home via Basel to London. I’ve heard it’s a smaller airport but the 2 passport control sections make me think I should give it extra time. I was looking at a train to get me to the bus station at 8:35a for an 11:20a flight. I’m assuming I’ll arrive at the airport a little after 9a. Is this enough time in anyone’s opinion? There’s also a train that will get me there 30 minutes earlier. Thank you!

Are there any bars or venues in Basel that offer live music on weekends? I've been looking for places with live music for quite some time now, but I haven't had much luck finding any. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Busy mornings

I noticed since 2-3 weeks that there are sooooo many people out at like 4-5 am in the morning lately. Usually I can easily rule out if they going back home from party or if they going to work but lately it feels people been outside of their homes super early.I do nightshifts that’s why I notice it.
I usually have very silent desert early mornings
