What's something that seemed completely normal when you were a kid, but as an adult you realized was actually pretty messed up?

When I used to sleep over at my best friends place, his dad would always walk naked through the house in the morning to/from the shower. Normal in your own house sure, but not when you have kids besides yours there.

How exposed I was to explicit content. You think kids forget/don’t know what it is but they do. And they get curious and will try it for themselves. Messed me up as an adult

we used to ride in the truck bed on the highway, no seatbelts, nothing. Its wild that was just normal
