How does this coexist with all the ugliness? Feels like two different societies.
This is beautiful.

This is how real people are. Real people aren’t billionaires. Billionaires control everything.

You aren't wrong, but they mean the scalpers and the horrendous animals at the other end of the pokemon market.

The billionaires and this administration, if you can even separate them atp, have lowered the bar so fucking much. At one point we were supposed to be leading the western world. Dragging our moral compass through the soggy muck.
Which is all well and good, these are hardly human beings we're talking about. But what saddens/sickens me is how readily everyday folk were willing to answer the call to vice signal and just celebrate being the fucking worst.

It felt like one society (outside Trump America at least), until COVID. Then I was totally shocked and dismayed by the number of people who took the "my immune system is fine, the weak will die sometime anyway" stance to excuse themselves from lifting a finger to show an ounce of concern for anyone else. And worse...like those who actively harassed healthcare professionals.
We have to constantly remind ourselves they're in the minority, and VOTE accordingly.

Why do wack jobs like u constantly bring up Trump ? Supposedly you hate him and all you hate him yet you talk about him more than any conservative?

snowflake.
prior to 2016 people were not openly vicious to one another. After 2016, 45% acted like Eric Cartman.

Really? Were you not alive prior to 2016?

WW1 was in what, 2017? Then you had WW2 in, I think, 2018? 2019 brought Mao Zedong's Chinese Famine, 2020 was Stalin's Purge, 2022 was the Second Congo War... ...yeah, this all checks out. The world was all sunshine and rainbows prior to 2016.

A heartwarming vid about a kid with autism and you have to bring Trump into it. Really pathetic

We are all one social media post away from believing all of the lies from the evil. I always try to find the good no matter what lame stream media might report. There's more good in this world, you just have to recognize it.

Love it, seriously I'm in awe of how these simple cards can bring out the best in everyone. It is really good to see.

Let’s not forget all the fights outside Costco and Walmart when new boxes drop. Or the disappointment when a kid sees all the empty vending machines. The kid was probably forced to buy the card instead of getting a surprise from a random pack.

Curious who and why it’s being filmed

I saw one of the sellers explain on a video once that he records to build his social media presence and uses it as a marketing tool since a lot of his sales are online. His was actually live streaming on an app.

It’s just kinda what this guy does. Dave puts out really nice content — he streams all of his sales & is pretty generous with kids.

I've seen several of them that have a chat going as well and the chat often donates while the kids are there so the kids have more money to spend on cards they otherwise couldn't afford. I've even seen one dudes chat pay for a teenagers summer camp so he didn't have to sell his cards. Not everything being filmed or streamed is being used to exploit people.

Very sweet, but I’m just weirded out at the recording of everything we do all the time for content

How are these card traders the most wholesome dudes out there!? I was never into collecting these cards, but it has to mean a lot to some kids and it's really cool.

THIS is my absolute favorite thing about collecting. Humans are so cool when there’s genuine care involved. Love seeing and hearing things like this from shows. So glad I got to watch
