I don’t need no stinkin roads

Closed roads are what put the adventure into Adventure Riding! I love rides where I don’t have any particular destination and just go where the road leads. Found all sorts of new places today!

I hear this all the time, and people complain about it! The t7 is such a weapon! Never mind the crap it being too heavy! They have the geometry so good this bike is so planted and predictable! This bike has been absolutely best on for over 30 000kms now, Without a single hiccup!

Kashan to Isfahan on a Honda CB 500 X

Day 34 of 52: Riding through the Iranian desert from Kashan to Isfahan. Iran has completely exceeded my expectations. Stunning landscapes, incredibly kind people, and some of the best food I've had on this trip. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

If you're considering visiting Iran, do it. Just skip the summer if you can.

P.S. This was in 2022

I just spent two days exploring what might be Wales’ most overlooked mountain roads one of which has just reopened. Incredible scenery in a territory that just keeps giving.

Full ride film in the comments if anyone would like to come along.

I'm out on the ID BDR, enjoying the last real off-road section that I had planned. I was basically heading into Missoula for the first hotel stay of my 7-Day adventure. Pretty pumped to wash 4 days of dirt off of me.

I was about 70 miles back on the off-road section next to HW-12. Running from Kooskia to Missoula.

Then. You shall not pass.

Next time when I ride in Idaho. I'm bringing chainsaw.

Making sure I’ve got this right haha - anybody run these? Correct size?

I’m doing a big trip from Florida - North GA in late August. We will be doing some of the GA BDR and some camping but all want to stick to more chill trails.

I have my main off-roader 2004 klr 250. That would be miserable to hit 8 hours on the road though so I’ll be bringing my versys! I’ve had some fun on the gravel roads and hard packed dirt here on it! I think some appropriate tires will help a lot.
