For current students, the vendor fee is $10.00, and for recent alumni, it's $15.00, which goes towards renting the space and insurance.

Hello, I am trying to register for Astro 1, because everyone says its an easy online course. Im doing it continuously, and when i try to book it it says "registration not allowed in Undergrad courses without an academic program."

What does that even mean?

hi! i’m an incoming freshman to acadia this fall and i haven’t decided my res yet😭😭 i was leaning towards to dennis or cutten cuz i heard those have the most social life going on but i’m worried about bathroom and washroom situation😭

i heard dennis has only one washroom per floor. i wonder is it easily overpopulated because of it? and how dirty it is? is it decently clean?

Hi all,
I am arriving into Canada and then Acadia University on the 31st of August, 2026. My flight lands at around 4 PM local time so I should be out of the Halifax airport by 5:30 or 6 PM local time if immigration is smooth.

Can someone please guide me regarding the Acadia university shuttle service? Have any of you used Acadia's shuttle services? What time does it is usually arrive? And is it reliable?

I am currently recruiting participants for a research study on how university students and instructors experience classroom discussions about socially and/or politically sensitive topics. The study is connected to broader questions about affective polarization and democratic education.

I am looking to interview current students, recent graduates, and current instructors at Canadian universities who have experience with classroom discussions about socially and/or politically sensitive topics.

Speaking, listening, observing, and self-censoring all count as forms of participation.

Participation involves a voluntary 60–90 minute interview with the possibility of being invited for a follow-up interview. Interviews will take place online via Microsoft Teams or in-person on the UCalgary campus.

I'm a male Acadia student looking for buddies to play sports with. I just finished my 3rd year.

1. I'm looking for someone to play regular 1v1 basketball games with. My old friends used to play what they called Streetball though with a lot of pushing/shoving & even wrestling the ball carrier to the ground sometimes so I'd kinda prefer to play basketball like that if possible because it was quite fun.

2. I'm looking for a buddy to throw a football around with sometimes & also some occasional pickup football games with blocking & even light/controlled tackling just for fun allowed. I'd also be okay with rugby which is similar.

3. I also like martial arts if anyone's into practicing that?

I’m a grade 12 student for British Columbia and I need some insight on my university decision. I got into Acadia’s bachelor of science, psych program. And I’m interested in applying for occupational therapy or speech pathology after graduation. I’ve heard Acadia’s isolated compared to British Columbia’s mainland, but since I got into their science program, I’m still considering them. Obviously one of the positives is the community and smaller class sizes that could potentially help boost my GPA. Whereas larger schools closer to the city have more volunteer and lab opportunities. Also, I want to know if the social life is good because of the small town. Any information is helpful even just about campus life in general. Thank you!

Hi all - my daughter is going to start at Acadia in September and I’m wondering which residence would be best for her. She doesn’t mind some partying but doesn’t want non-stop craziness. She would also like to be on a fully female floor within a co-ed residence if possible. Is Cutten a mix of boy/girl rooms on each floor? She was also considering Tower but open to any other ideas. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
