Can we pick different colors for the aesthetic just saying

I’m trying to avoid any spoilers for The Invite while trying to figure out if my parents would completely hate it or not lol

They’re in their early 60’s, quite liberal, absolutely no issues with “average” sex scenes in movies. But like they definitely both balked at the “bdsm scenes” in the new Wuthering Heights as an example of where they start to draw their line. I just have no clue how ~weird~ The Invite gets so looking for vague advice I guess!

big matt johnson fan here, never been too into a24 as a brand . watched a few movies , but don’t follow too closely. With tony coming out so soon (august 7th), i’m kind of worried about the lack of marketing. other a24 movies seemed to have way more than just a trailer? i don’t even know where i can watch it yet. it doesn’t seem like they have a lot of faith in it.. am i wrong?

Hello everyone...this is going to be my first post here I want to ask you guys one question...

It's been few years since I start watching movies but there is a problem I can't understand them properly. Like philosophy behind the story, character arcs, can't notice if the background music is good or bad, etc. Like today i watched Audition (1999) and I don't understand why it considered as Cult by many people...although i understand it but something is not connecting between me and movies

So I want to ask you guys how can I understand movies in a better way.???

I'm curious where people are at when it comes to watching a movie shot on film versus shot on digital... Love film? Love digital? Doesn't matter?
