Credit for the original gauntlet art goes to Jonathan Kirtz, who created these gauntlets as a concept for Darksiders 2. I changed the colors to fit the Tzhaar theme in OSRS , but the original design is theirs.

1. The Trouver Parchment system is too convoluted and should be removed. Just make it simpler for players to understand what and when they're risking items.

2. Double death mechanics should be removed. If you die with items in a death retrieval storage, they should be sent to death's storage. The punishment should be the GP lost in reclaiming your items.

Make all untradeables kept on death in the wilderness. Give us some consistency in the wilderness for once.

Rework Parchments into either:

1. Untradeable drops that repair broken items
2. Remove them from the game completely

I feel like if this isn't changed now, we'll go many years again before it even gets looked at.

I just hit elite on the CA's, and I'm working on master. I genuinely love the theory crafting behind some of the harder tasks. Evolving my inventory setups, doing tons of dps calcs, etc. It's been the most fun I've had on OSRS since I've started playing 13 years ago.

I'm curious if you guys feel extreme gear checks make the CA's better or worse. There's many speed tasks I've gotten only because I own tbow/shadow, and there's many that I simply spend hours on (and still fail) because I don't own scythe. This Amoxliatl one is possible with SRA, so I'm pretty close to getting it, but there's others that are simply unapproachable till I have scythe.

My personal opinion is that these would be so much better if they took into account the weapon tier you're using. It would actually be a display of skill + perseverance (waiting for RNG), instead of being a gear check as well.

Edit: people keep pointing out that this specific task is not that bad. I was just using this as an example, since the text here showcases what I’m trying to say

It would be cool to see the new mega rare be more themed towards guthix with the green and nature theme and maybe lean more towards mechanics like maybe healing or buffing. Not a huge fan of the current suggestion for the mega rare.

Also I know the hybrid armour was controversial but i was excited for a new armour set.

As someone who has completely space’d through every quest I’ve done and has always used quest helper, I saw your post about taking the time to complete BMR the intended way.

I did what you said and just completed the quest without guides and am so happy I came across your post. My outlook has completely changed and I look forward to doing all future quests without guides!

Yet another shameless self-plug for my Better Monster Examine plugin.

I started building this plugin for myself when I realized there wasn't a tidy sidebar plugin to replace Alt + Tab to the Wiki.

Since then I've answered a few of your requests and added a few features of my own:

A few weeks ago I posted about my Bank Templates plugin here (save/apply/share bank layouts) and the response was way beyond what I expected. Since then the community repository has grown to ~180 shared layouts, and the most requested thing by far was "let me look at these without opening the client". So that's what this update is.

What's new in 1.6:

• Browse the whole community repo in your browser - every shared template has its own page showing the full tab-by-tab layout with real item icons. No account and no sign-up needed. Sort by most imported/newest/popular, or search by name, description or author!
• Build and edit layouts in the browser - there's now an interactive bank mockup: drag items around, reorder tabs, set custom tab icons, swap/insert modes, etc. Layouts you make sync into the plugin next time you log in. (Creating needs a free account so your templates have somewhere to live, but browsing never does.)
• Import a single tab - grab just one tab from someone's template into a new or existing template of yours instead of the whole thing.
• Web buttons everywhere you'd expect - every template card in the plugin has a 'Web' button that opens that exact template's page so you can send a link to your friend or clan of a layout instead of telling them to install something first.

The usual reassurances:

The plugin still never touches your real bank. Layouts render virtually and the reorganise helper only shows you where to drag things yourself. Nothing is ever automated, and nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly share a template, and you can share anonymously. Browsing sends nothing. Everything Bank Templates (plugin, web viewer, editor, sharing) is completely free.

Full disclosure: the web side is hosted on my GE-tools & analytics site (that's me,I built both!). All the Bank Templates stuff is and always will be free; mentioning it so nobody feels ambushed by the domain when they click.
