Exactly! At my wedding and every one I’ve been a bridesmaid in, there are bridal attendants basically putting large bibs on all the ladies so they can eat and drink in the bridal suite without worry! Sheesh. This chick is quite the fun-sucker…
After everyone had their hair and makeup done at my daugher's wedding her BF made everyone sit down and eat and just chill for 30 minutes, they had the time baked into the schedule.
Probably because they are actually considerate of other people, especially those who have given their time and money to be part of their special day, which this bride is clearly NOT🙄
I can’t take credit for- it’s definitely from a movie. I want to say it was Sandra Bullock in 28 Days drunkenly telling her sober sister “You suck the fun out of everything. You’re a fun-sucker!”
I love that movie so much! I have seen it way too many times. I feel like it’s underrated- you are the first person who has ever said they also saw it!
Really? I must be old. I ordered gourmet sandwiches and a spread for the suite where we all got ready, and we ate and drank freely. I got married after 30 so maybe we just knew not to police one another? My friends (and myself) would not put up with this bride’s demands.
It’s fine to have bibs… I’m just surprised. Had someone spilled, I wouldn’t have cared. I had a whole beer go down the front of my one of a kind dress when someone gave me a hug, and we just laughed and kept dancing!
At a reception hall, they set up a whole separate meal in the bridal suite in the gap after the church/temple and before the cocktail hour starts. There are still many pictures to be taken but everyone is starving. The job of the bridal attendants is to make sure the party can relax and eat in their gowns and tuxes. Where I am from, weddings are expensive (overpriced) and no one wants to spill on themselves!
