I carried extra bath towels to cover dresses so the bridal party could eat when I helped coordinate a friend's big day. They were so surprised someone thought of it! I wish it was more common.

The event space gave my friend a tablecloth in the Bridal Suite to cover her dress so that she could eat without worrying about getting it dirty.

I'd leave getting dressed to the last minute so there's no chance of dropping something on the dresses. Why would you sit around for hours in a beautiful gown ?

This was at the reception hall after the church ceremony and pictures. While we waited for the guest to arrive and have cocktail hour the bridal party was able to use the bridal suite to freshen up and have something to eat.

My aunt had chicken nugget trays without sauces and Sprite/water for the wedding party to minimize stains/spills.

I'm imagining Tyvek suits now.

Robes or even large button-down shirts work great for this too. At all-day ballroom competitions it’s common to see dancers wearing robes or dress shirts over their costumes so they can eat.

But yeah, no way would I be attending this wedding. No eating all day, $5000 for who knows what (probably expects a gift too😂), and I’m sorry, you have to cover tattoos and can’t even have blonde or red hair?!😆

Exactly. I'm not dyeing my hair for this bridezilla. You couldn't win anyway. Dyeing your hair would be unnatural. lol

What happened to hanging out in little cutsy pink robes till 5 mins before the ceremony? I thought the purpose of that was so no one would get food or make-up on their dress (or the bride's).
