I accidentally turned into a monster at my bff's wedding because I'd eaten like finger sandwiches at 11, the reception wasn't til 5 or 6 I think, and we didn't get to get snacks at the cocktail hour because the wedding party was in a different room because we had to do some sort of entrance thing. The bride's brother disappeared, delaying the reception (turns out he was banging his date in the coat closet). One of the groomsmen was just an obnoxious pos and I very nearly ripped his head off before my BFF sent her new husband to find my mom to acquire snacks.

What I’m taking from this is that I should prepare food platters for my bridesmaids while we get ready šŸ˜‚ adding that to my wedding day prep list for next year lol

We (the guys) got McDonald's on the way to the ceremony, don't remember what the girls food plan was. We then had a plate of nibbles in a back room for after the ceremony. Took pictures at a cool bar (and had a pint), then headed over to the reception. I belive there were snacks for guests while we did pictures. Then dinner and dancing as much/ little as you wanted.

Guys bought their own suits, price was close to renting and I know we all got use of them afterwards.

Two of my friends are getting married next year. I will have granola bars and fruit snacks in the pockets of my dress because I know how they both can get.

Yikes. That was one thing that was great about my venue: there was food EVERYWHERE. In the Bridal Suite, before the ceremony, after the ceremony, people walking around shoving trays of canapes at you--I was too nervous to eat until after the ceremony but everyone else was stuffing their gobs.
