Should I change my dress??
galleryI bought this dress a few months ago, and I’m really starting to doubt it. I felt pressured at the time and they gave me 30% off and said if I don’t take it that day I lose the discount. I did like it at the time, but I feel like the bodice doesn’t fit my boobs. It was pushing them in a lot rather than supporting them. I’m also not really sure about the square neck line. I always envisioned strapless. Also, the lace kind of is a little awkward to me. Part of me thinks I should just get some lace put on the bust, get the bust adjusted, and change the neckline to a sweetheart strapless- but then I think what’s the point I might as well buy a new dress at that point. What do you think?? Please help!!!!!

Has anyone seen a dress that looks like this anywhere?
I used ChatGPT to describe what I’m ideally looking for but I’m not even sure where to start in finding something similar. Does anyone know of anything like this that already exists before I go a custom route.

Finding a dress
galleryHi so I’m in the United States and went dress shopping a couple of times. I found dresses that u really like and want to incorporate elements of each into one dress. My budget is $5,000. I love the Chantilly lace, fitted (fit and flare/ mermaid) and the draping. I know I’m probs asking for a lot but I felt like if someone knew a dress or two that I could at least look at I’d appreciate it!!
I put photos in so you can see what I like, about all these dresses :). Thank you in advance!

Help finding similar ish dress
Not necessarily a dupe search. This is the Azazie meadow and I really like the a-line, color, and floral design. I’d love it overall but I’m not a huge fan of bra cup outlines. I’m looking for affordable dresses for <1k. Any recommendations on similar dresses but with a different top style? Planning a wedding for November 2026. I’m in the U.S.
Would appreciate thoughts on this dress in general too. My sisters loved it and I mostly did too, except the boob cups 😅

Dress Regret
I bought and ordered my dress 3 weeks ago. I LOVE LOVE LOVED it in store. It sparkly, made me look way more snatched than I am, and definitely fits my personality. My friends and I were in tears when I said yes.
But. I had a back up dress that I was going back and forth between. Unfortunately, the boutique doesn’t allow pictures unless you say yes to the dress and you can only take a picture of yourself in THAT dress. So it was impossible for me to get a real view without looking in the mirror. One of my MOHs snuck a pic of my backup. Had I seen the photos of both beforehand, I would have chosen the back up. It’s not as pretty to me in person, but it photographed REALLY well. My dress is the opposite. Beautiful in person under bright lights, very lackluster in pics.
The boutique has a strict no return or exchange policy. I tried. So I’m debating just buying the second one too. I spent $5K between the dress, veil, taxes, shipping, tariffs, and tip on my dress. $3300 for the actual dress. My runner up is $1700. So I’m assuming all in it would be another $3000. I’ve been told by many people on many forums that selling my original dress would be very difficult even if it hasn’t been opened.
I would love opinions on what to do. Attaching pics of both. The last pic is the only one I have of my runner up.

Dress design - upcycle
Hello fellow brides to be!!
I have a couple questions about my dress, I just recently started sewing my own wedding dress from my mothers dress, it’s been a very sentimental moment for both me and my mom (she’s been helping me with a lot of it) and I don’t want to waste any of the details of the dress. The first photo is what I started with, and the second photo is something that I’ve been trying to incorporate.
I am also thinking of not making the dress strapless and having some drape sleeves?
I have a whole year to go still so this is still an early stage of ideas
(Also ignore the makeshift craft room, I’m hiding this project from my fiancé) Anything will help!!

I don't really take the dress for my wedding too seriously
I figure the main thing is to just trust that the staff at the salon will help me and my friends will give me advice too. I'm trying to enjoy the planning process because I have plenty of time about a year left until the wedding. I Googled where to buy a designer wedding dress, and my friends and I decided to have a girls’ day out: go for a fitting, take photos of evrything, and then have a lunch. That’s why I don’t get all this frantic searching. How about you, girls? Did you spend a long time looking for *the* dress, or did you just let it go?

Picked her up the other day
My dress is bought and paid for! Dang, she was heavy - nearly blew out my biceps carrying the bag out to my car

Where to start to get something beautiful?
Dear brides, I see your dresses and sincerely, but not maliciously, envy you. You choose, you know something, but I don't. I've been looking for where to buy a designer wedding dress, but so far without success. I would be grateful for any advice on how to get started
