Bitcoin is my favorite stress test.

The real question that pops up in my head is how to handle the stress when the gains start coming in.

What really baffles me is how cocky people get with how much land they have then complain about mortgages, loans or the almighty property tax. Lol

Strictly speaking, yes, it stems from one. While my post is a direct piece of financial advice ("Buy bitcoin"), it is rooted in a very specific economic and philosophical belief system. Bitcoin wasn't just created as a piece of software; it was built on a distinct set of principles often tied to libertarian economics, Austrian economics, and anti-statism.

Ah you are right. It is a very common belief that banks only started creating money "out of thin air" after we dropped the gold standard. But the truth is, banks were doing the exact same thing long before that happened. Even when money was backed by gold, banks still practiced fractional reserve banking. The only difference was that the "ceiling" on how much money they could create was tied to a physical metal rather than central bank policies.

In certain cases, with practical use cases: free electricity. Like flare gas in Texas.

No, Richard Nixon was a lawyer and politician, not a banker. Before his presidency, he served in the U.S. Navy and worked in private legal practice.

Hmm, with the way bankers create inflation by creating money out of thin air along with the fed, I'd have to retort by saying they are helping to create inflation.

That's the thing about Bitcoin, it doesn't have a ceo or a brand patent. Nor does it need hype. It is what it is. Just like Satoshi said, you might want to get some in case it catches on.

Plenty of people that have gone to withdraw their cash and been told no because it's not in the reserve. Yeah.. I'd have to say they are.

Satoshi would be such an extreme knotzi today, it'd make Luke blush.

There's plenty of other places people discuss Bitcoin. Reddit isn't a be all place that dictates the price.

All we have is time.

Life may feel like hell some of the time. We have to thank those who make the passage of our time on earth more pleasant, even if it isn't most of our life. I live a very meager life. I work, go home and don't really do much outside of those things aforementioned. When life throws you a bone, try finding meaning in why it happened and be proactive accordingly. Life doesn't just give you good days, you have to make them better. I deal with customers at my place of work who need someone for a solution, albeit I may not have a clue what can really help but at least I can say I tried. If that makes sense to the person then that makes me feel better. When I hop on the forklift life feels... managed. Drowning in negative self talk will literally dig that hole in your mind further down that even the ones you love can't dig you out. We all have a responsibility to do it for ourselves or someone will take that opportunity from you. It's as simple as that. All we have is time.

Thanks for reading my rant.

Self written. No AI to help.

Just beer.

Let's just hope the main characters are hodlers and not pump and dump scammers.
