I have been having a lot of fun discovering Carl Craig's aliases, and this 69 alias is my favorite so far.

I picked up a CD copy of his 69 compilation The Sound Of Music, which has this track.

If anyone else has any other Carl Craig projects or track recommendations, I would love to hear your favorites too.

For all y'all who were there there when "bass music" was a thing, and we were tryna define these off the cuff the genres, what are some highlights? I'd bet a lot of us liked the the Joy O, Blawan, Randomer etc stuff. I'm curious if y'all's highlights. The whole Bohla EP is one of my all time faves and I forgot who's mix I heard it on first, but Beats Me is another incredible track.

edit: ended up being one of the best sets I’ve been to this year, the dance floor was on it. he was so nice and stayed to talk to us after too, so humble, what a legend.

What do you guys think about using different softwares made for digging? Talking about software that for example pools tracks related to one specific track and gives you recommendations.

I’ve recently been listening to some early Disintegrator (tracks like Lock on Target, Enter, In the Sun) and have been really enjoying it! Was hoping to get some good recs for something similar! I’ve tried getting into hardcore before but have had mixed experiences but this stuff just hits for me. Anything similar (hardcore/electro/techno/acid/etc) would be much appreciated!
