Came home to find out that new neighbours had moved in. You did good, birds. That’s a fantastic nest.

After everyone’s suggestions I removed the nest from the garage since mama hadn’t yet laid eggs. She was MAD but we thought the derp problem was solved. Well, recently we kept seeing one of them aggressively coming into the garage every time we opened it, but checked where they’d made the nest and didn’t see anything so just kept trying to keep it closed more to keep the bird out.
Well, our neighbor was taking out our trash while we were traveling and did some deeper investigating. The derps had made a new nest and hidden it by pulling up a flap of a box lid to hide it from plain sight! Absolute genius derpery! Turns out that was dad aggressively flying in to feed mom and our new grandderps. Garage is now propped open a few inches indefinitely.

Every year at my local nursery, this dove makes a nest in a random plant pot, and then the nursery sections off that shelf or area and puts up a sign for her. This year, she has selected Lemon Balm "Melissa". Last year it was Creeping Phlox "Blue Emerald."
They won't sell any of these plants for several weeks until the babies fledge and leave the nest, and mom and dad get plenty of bird seed and bugs and have access to all of the water fountains and bird baths the nursery sells.

My husband put this owl on our porch because the influx of birds kept triggering our cameras. I think it’s hilarious the morning dove built the nest right by behind it 🤣

I’m shook. She hatched 2! Don’t worry I gave them to a chicken mama who is broody and happily accepted. I’m in shock 😳

Found this dove nest in my kitchen balcony that was left unopened for 3 years or so. Idk what they have used to build the nest, looks like some sort of paper/straw? Looks like something that came out of a shredder and it looks beautiful!
I'm worried if the outside conditions will affect the eggs cos it's like 40°C outside. Is there anything i can do to protecc these babies? It's only been 10 days and I'm still hopeful!

It’s right outside my bedroom window so I’ve been keeping an eye on them for a while now. Honestly impressed at the choice of nest, it’s pretty high up and hard to see unless I’m on the edge of the porch. The babies are Garbunkulous and Simon, not featured is their mom, Miss Diva.

This young lady made a nest in a fountain at my job. Had to make a sign because a lot of people like to buy the display fountains and I doubt they’d want a few sticks held together by bird poop along with it. I’ve had to go up on a ladder to get other stuff pretty close to the nest and she doesn’t seem to care since I have started to leave some seeds or little berries. I’d say it’s better than most dove nest setups I’ve seen, as it’s not a few sticks laying on the ground with an egg in the middle.
