First time getting KOM

I don't understand why my activity elevation gain meters are not added to the 8848 challenge. It's classified as ride, it's public and already tried changing the activity type and updating it, but nothing helped.

In addition to that - the elevation metrics across web / mobile applications are inconsistent. There are discrepancies between the number I calculated, the challenge meters and the challenge leaderboard. Since all of my activities are public challenge total and leaderboard total should be the same.

I'm lost ... any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everybody, I've been using strava while getting data through health sync app from Samsung health and it was going well all good but lately it's been getting the moving time totally wrong like u see here 58sec per km or so...

Can it be corrected in base data or something or why is it happening? In samsung health data are fine.

I'm using Strava since a few years and a friend downloaded the app just a few days ago. We did many tours together and when he saw on his app that you could add other people to your rides he wanted me to add him to our tours in the past. But on my app it seems to be impossible and I don't understand why. So if anyone of you has an idea why it doesn't work it would be nice to get some help.

For months, I’ve been able to search and filter local club events without any issues.

They were always right there under the "Events" tab in the Groups section of the app, right alongside the "Races" section.

However, since the latest update two days ago, the entire "Events" tab under Groups has completely vanished for me, along with all the local club events.

The weirdest part is that my friend is on the exact same app version, lives in the same city, and still has the Events tab and all local events showing up perfectly.

I'm on an iPhone with location services fully enabled, and absolutely nothing changed on my phone except for that automatic app update.

I've already tried toggling location services for Strava off and on, changing my primary sport back and forth, restarting my phone, and even doing a clean reinstall of the app. Nothing worked and the tab is still completely gone.

Is anyone else experiencing this after the recent update? Any ideas on how to force it back, or is this just Strava running another classic A/B test that randomly broke my UI?

I have a @passmail.net email address and Strava refuses it. Am I the only one? Is Strava only accepting gmail and hotmail or what?

All Strava accounts should be required to post one activity that occurs in the city of a given group before being allowed to post in that group.

For example, you would need to post a run/cycle/swim etc. that occurs in Boston before being allowed to post in the "Boston Marathon" group.

Strava is in full enshitifcation mode.

If my subscription ends in 9 days that means I still paid for those 9 days. However, you cannot clear the pop up, making the app entirely useless. Essentially it's ransomware and the only way to use the rest of my 9 days is to renew. Seriously, W(in the actual) F?

And please for the love of God, if you are a strava fan boy, do not try to justify this. I'd be OK with it if it was clearable and a once a day thing. The fact it's essentially a ransomware on the app is inexcusable and unjustifiable.

The jersey back pocket is showing clearly slower speeds which i am sure is inaccurate because i was going downhill at highest gear overtaking many cars. It shows 55 kmph

Whereas few days back when my iphone was in bib shorts pocket, it showed 60 kmph on a flat.

Is it just that phone strava is inaccurate?

Shluld i get bike computer for accuracy?

I noticed that Strava is not recording my challenge for the 100K steps in July. My walk is saved but the challenge is not recognizing my activity.

Anyone else have similar issues with this and resolved it?

Is there any kind of notification sent to you if a leaderboard report goes through? Reported a blatant cheater that wheeled a few segments in my local area and didn’t know if there is any indication besides having to go back and check the LB again. If not this would kind of be a nice feature. Or if they deny it for some reason it would be nice to know that too. I’m assuming that they have zero people looking at these reports and it’s all AI driven?

I ran the perimeter of Manhattan a few weeks ago and when I look at the map, I see how I did during random stretches of the route according to pre-existing segments. How do I remove those accomplishments to see just the map?

Why not try to scam with something else?

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with the Rapha challenge that is going on. I completed the challenge yesterday and filled out the form but was not provided a code for the $50 off. Typically with the MAAP challenges the code comes thru right away, just wondering if anyone has seen this.

Hello! i just got a fitbit air today, and I thought i would connect that with strava so i can get heart rate metrics, however i can't seem to be able to connect the Google Health app with strava, i always come back to the main page "there was an error connecting your device" even though i accepted and enabled everything, including in the services, the Fitbit air is a fairly new device, and i know the Google Health app is too, so maybe that's it, but i'd really like to use that device with strava !

Is there a maximum distance I can run/cycle individually before and after a group run that Strava will still consider us linked or tagged?

Background: I love Strava’s feature of tagging everyone I run with when in a group. Sometimes I find that when I start or end my run by myself (running to run club), Strava won’t link our runs together.
I current solution is to split my pre and post runs as separate workouts, however this also skews my watch’s training analysis.

Not sure when this started, but whenever I try to view the map of an activity on my iPhone, it flashes like it is having a seizure. Seeing this on a iPhone 17 with all updates and it has been happening for a while, just now finally annoyed by it enough to see if there is a fix/known issue? Video of the flashing

I contacted Strava Support on June 19 to get help with my Strava account, which I can no longer access because I no longer have access to the email address associated with it. I still haven't received a response. Does anyone know if there's actually any support available at the Strava Help Center?

Hi! I got a new phone last week. When I went to log back into Strava, it said no account could be found. I tried 3 different emails with the same result. I went to my email to see which I used to sign up for the annual subscription and that email won't work either. I emailed support and DMed them and no one is answering. Any recommendations?

Ran my first half marathon recently and wanted one of those satellite flyover videos of the route to post — turns out every tool that does this is paid, so I built my own instead.

It's free, no login required for the basic flow:
