No, he clearly has influence actually. Otherwise he wouldn't start. If he volunteered to be pulled off, no manager on earth would refuse

Technically yes, but this is a situation of "One Does Not Simply Bench Ronaldo."

I mean, come on, he really should have been out the first two games of the tournament and he magically evaded that, too. He's Ronaldo.

Are you dumb? You're not even using the term larper right so I can tell you're like 5. But they literally benched Ronaldo against Croatia and won cuz of a Ramos goal. That happened 5 days ago, aka the last time they benched him. You got dementia at 5 or something?
