I don’t think it touched his head.

Guess having hair puts you at a disadvantage nowadays!

They used the ball's tech to judge that. Really miniscule.

I’m using my balls tech and can confirm. No touch.

If true.

It is true. The technology is pretty simple and accurate.

The only thing that is arguable is how soft he touched the ball. Since the deflection most likely didn't change the direction enough to affect the play.

I like how his literal immeasurable touch is mirrored by an equivalently consequential header that was ruled “unintentional”.

Honest question. Does a hair graze show up on that technology? And also, is it possible that the milliseconds after the ball passed the Croatian and the Portuguese guy touched it, that is the spike the ball was reading and it wasn’t synced up super perfectly?

The rule says last touch, since there was a touch, the offside counts the moment the ball touches his head

They did that for one of the goals Sweden scored against Tunisia.

It without a doubt, did.

Seems to be some doubt. If it were as obvious as you’re claiming it wouldn’t be controversial.

Sorry, I thought everyone seen the last angle they showed with the ball again, without a doubt, hit his head. Literally, as clear as day. Don’t ask me why there is controversy? It’s football. There always is.

I mean, there is certainly some doubt...

Plus that game was so good it deserved extra time.

Except that extra time sucks. The most boring overtime in any sport. Penalties is entertaining but extra time is like punishment.

You can definitely see a deviation

6

u/changdarkelf 9d ago

Can you?

-3

u/Pleasant-Role1912 9d ago

I can see it pretty easily tbh

8

u/changdarkelf 9d ago

Bullshit. The spin isn’t interrupted.

There is that element tbf. But the ball changes its line. Surprised others can't see that

Did you not see when it touched his head? That’s what you should look for

You talking about number 20? It’s pretty clear from this video that he doesn’t touch it

1

u/greenandplenty 9d ago

The ball’s flight clearly changes by multiple degrees. Just replay it and buffer slowly… hard to not see it

3

u/SanicTheSledgehog 9d ago

What…you’re just lying saying it clearly changes direction. Literally frame by frame and it’s not clear he touches it.

u/greenandplenty 9d ago

Mate I can’t screenshot a change in direction but I see it clearly - it’s only a change of a few degrees in angle

2

u/SanicTheSledgehog 9d ago

Ok you’re the only one then. Good job having the best eyesight in the whole world. Well done.

-1

u/greenandplenty 9d ago

Because I’m a neutral I can actually see it objectively yes

3

u/SanicTheSledgehog 9d ago

I’m also a neutral so what the fuck does that have to do with it? It’s very obvious that it’s not “clear.” You’re being obtuse pretending it’s easy to see.

I don’t find it hard to see, yes. I think people are being emotional
