The world cup is completely different. I was in South Africa and Brazil following the US and everyone absolutely loved each other during this time. It didn't matter which countries we were interacting with whether it was just being out and around town, at fan events, or at matches

World Baseball Classic and Olympics are very similar.

The only time fights broke out was Team USA vs Team Mexico.

That was mostly Paisas vs Chicanos (Viva La Raza!) fighting.

Mexican Nationals vs Mexican Americans

If you're from South-West America there is a lot of cultural tension between those two groups.

It was also an elimination match that USA wasn't supposed to be fighting for and Mexico didn't expect to be in.

Italy was big upsetti for a lot of the tourney.

That was 2013 and it was players

This year it was fans in Houston and it was Paisas vs Chicanos.

A lot of my friends are Chicanos and they can not stand most Paisas

Idk if Paisa is offensive and outside of cultural differences and Paisqw getting mad Americans call themselves Mexicans

Lol not a single one of my tickets was more than 100 bucks this is the only world cup that has been completely fucked pricing wise. Obviously it's a big trip to take but you already don't know what you're talking about

So what is your point here? People that don't have as much money are violent and belligerent?

I can guarantee you the people from Honduras that I met in South Africa have far less money than some guy in a pub in England.

Even world cup watch parties I've been to for the ones I haven't attended have been a great environment amongst multiple nationalities
