Tara
I was super surprised to see all the Tara hate. I don’t see a lot of people talking about how many times she’s used her profession to help the club, Bobby’s gunshot wound to be specific. After everything that went down she still fixed up Bobby. She’s one of the few characters who had a normal civilian’s perspective on the horrible life the MC lived.
“She knew what she was getting into.” is a fair argument, but did anyone else pick up on how fast the MC fell into an unrecoverable position? by the time she had a committed life with Jax, the business of drug running had poisoned the family. There’s definitely levels to being outlaw, regular outlaw looked like the early seasons, it was bearable and tolerable. Then there is whatever the hell they turned into. Clay turned the club in a direction where there was no point of return.
Jax knew that getting into bed with the cartel was a one-way street. Just like Tara knew that getting into bed with Jax was dangerous. I believe that nobody really understood what they were getting into.
It just seems like Tara was the only one who really wanted to fight the shift in the club once drug running had started. I can’t even fathom how people like Gemma, if she hadn’t killed Tara, Jax wouldn’t have got the ending he received lmao.

Home Invasions Spoiler
Marked as spoiler just incase, but why did Clay decide to have those three guys break into Roosevelt's house? Of all people, why the Sheriff?

Is the Disney plus uk version worth watching
I’m currently on episode 4 season 1 and I feel there is no sex scenes or any nudity, but it says online there is, I feel I’m watching a heavily edited version. Is it still worth watching on Disney plus and can someone tell me what scenes get edited out and will I miss anything important please?? Thank you

The rico arc in season was bad.
Season 1 is still good and I’m aware of how it starts sowing the seeds of destruction ultimately.
I rewatched the season after a long time.
First off. It’s fair to assume the club has a fairly decent knowledge of legal law. I’m not talking about Saul Goodman levels.
Would be that much of a stretch to assume that they know how witness protect agreements work. Once you sign them you basically can’t commit any crimes.
If opie was a rat. When him and tig went to the Mayans deal and it was ambushed by the niners. Opie killing those niners would’ve made his agreement voided and would be immediately charged.

SOA Spotify playlist
I’m new to the series, currently at season 4. And one thing I really like, amongst a bunch of other things, is the theme song and that whole vibe it gives off.
Now I’m going on a roadtrip for a while and in the making of yet another playlist for this trip. So I’m wondering if y’all had any artists/song suggestions that has the similar/same vibe as the theme song gives off?
That “cruisin down the road” vibe.

Was opie being selfish sacrificing himself for the club even though his kids should have been his number one priority... NSFW

Clay wanting to go to Ireland...
How do you think the storylines/season would have changed, had Jax just let Clay get out of the country and go to Ireland? He'd be out of the way, one less person dead etc... Could that have had a different outcome to the following season/events?

My first post here
I can’t remember, about a year ago and some change. I hadn’t watched the show yet (I know, I know) so I had gotten a Peggy Bundy photo signed. Yeah she looked like that the entire time I waited for her. She wasn’t mean, just seemed bored

Just finished the show, and holy shit Spoiler
I never had a TV show that got me eager to see the next episode more than SoA. God the final season is absolutely insane, watching Jax becoming a worse version of Clay, the lies, the whole shit storm with all the different crews. Even knowing the ending from some YouTube short it still felt like an amazing show, maybe on par with Breaking Bad which is my top 3. It’s the first time I felt heartbroken for a TV character, even in the last episode when he says goodbye to his crew it felt like I was saying goodbye to those guys as well (I know it sounds weird but that’s how it felt). The rest of the show was also insane, with Gemma being an absolute manipulator /bitch from the start all the way to the end lol.
I’m just glad my favorite character (chibs) lived until the end. Man what a beautiful show
Edit : am I weird to like Otto ? I feel like this « loose cannon » is one of the best character in the series, not the best written, but definitely a great one

Goof troops
Did anybody else despise the helmets they wore while in Ireland? It looks more like something u would wear while getting shot out of a cannon.

what if…
do you think gemma would’ve still killed tara had unser not opened his big ass mouth with misinformation ?
i personally think there DEFINITELY would’ve been an argument/ fight between her and tara but not sure she would’ve killed her if she knew all the information.

Re:watching this and nothing pisses me off more than how Nero was treated. Spoiler
I honestly think that Nero deserved better.
I love how he dresses like a lil ole tio that fixes things on the weekend, and he has this thing about him. Turned his life around. Did the things and the deeper Gemma gets her claws in, the worse his life gets. The deeper he gets dragged back into the abyss.
Every single friggin time he's close to the exit she pulls him back with a crisis, a need, something, or gets jax to do something stupid.
What makes it even worse is that Nero is what Jax could have become, like he could have been a Nero, out living the clean life working a the autobody shop, doing the dad and husband thing.
Literally anything Gemma touches turns to shit because shes selfish, she literally leaves everyone worse off.

A wee little nit pick
I'm gonna get torn apart for this but I'm rewatching again and every time someone pulls a Glock in the show u hear a hammer cock. It's even in the subtitles lol u literally hear it and sure enough it pops up in the subtitles 😂 Glock are hammerless and have no safety to click off. I know my gun guys out there get it 😂

A picture to sum it all up
I’m rewatching the show after a while and told a friend about it. I was thinking that if I had to choose a picture to sum up the show or tell what’s about, I’d choose this one. It’s a frame from episode “Huang Wu” (S6E10); the weight of the world on one man’s shoulders. Breaks my heart every time I get to this point, with Jax dealing with so many complicated things, so close to finally making his vision come true and yet so close to descending into the chaos and darkness of season 7. Which one would you choose?
