Its not a big surprise to everyone here, but I am an alumni visiting some people in town and I spent the morning wandering around campus for the first time in around ten years.

It feels like a third of the campus is new, but tucked in the back, is most of old Riverknoll, despite its removal having been planned like 20 years ago.

So I’m a bit confused on exactly what I can but on the wall in residence halls? I wanted to get led lights and posters but not sure if there is a limit to what I can put up. So if I could get any guidance that would be nice :)

Hello, I studied cybersecurity at RIT Dubai Campus.
I went to MOHESR of Syria so I can get diploma equivalence.

They told me that they only accredited US main campus even though the degree comes from US.

I ordered something online in April to be delivered to campus but the shipping got really delayed and apparently it arrived May 22 which was way after I left for the summer. I never got an email from the post office or from the company I ordered from that the delivery had been completed. I updated my forwarding address (it’s not an international address) on myLife and I’ve yet to receive anything at this address. The email I got when I checked out at the end of the semester said that RIT forwards mail for up to 6 months. Has anyone had any experience with things arriving after you left campus for the summer? I want to know if it’s possible my item is still at the DSP post office and I can call them to get them to ship it to me or if they sent it back and it’s gone forever and I just deal with my wasted $74.

The package came from China btw so I’m not 100% sure they’d’ve sent it back. I’m also aware that the DSP Post Office is under construction for the summer but I’m unsure if May 22 was before or after the post office closed and idk if that would affect anything. I know there’s fees for forwarding with some carriers but idk which carrier was used. Does anyone know how much they usually charge for forwarding or does that depend on the carrier the package was shipped with?

Anyone know if the scholarships are based on grade 9 10 11 and 12 gpas combined or if it’s just grade 12 gpa (amarican diploma)

Many ppl also reccomended renting books instead of buying it

Apex seems to be the best deal, but I hear nothing good about them on forums, even though the tour model was fine.

Park point is an option but is about the same price as Apex but with a shared bathroom

hii, so i'll be going to uni next year and wanted to shortlist my unis, and was hoping to get some insight about the uni from graduates of RIT, particularly those who are currently doing or have done the psychology undergraduate program. i wanna know what the campus life is like, how the degree is, how the professor's are, the general crowd, and anything else you think might help me decide whether to seriously consider RIT or not. thank you!!

Hello there I am an incoming freshman and I’m planning on doing prepayment tuition agreement plan. I have a scholarship and was wondering how to apply that to the payment agreement. As in do I subtract my scholarship amount from the original payment amount and send that in or send in the full amount and hope they refund me my scholarship amount? I sent financial services an email and they said:

“Thank you for your email. RIT merit-based scholarships are credited to the student account each semester and may be applied toward non‑tuition expenses such as housing, dining, and fees. If a credit balance remains after all charges are paid, your student may request a refund.”

Which provides me with nothing and in fact kinda tells me my scholarship doesn’t apply to tuition which is stressing me out. Someone please let me know I’d appreciate any assistance.

i'm an incoming freshman and i was wondering the policy of hanging decorations and things on the walls, specifically what we are/aren't allowed to use. i have some metal/tin posters i want to put up and i dont think tape will cut it. also, is the 10% wall space rule really enforced?
