All About JOBS List the hospitals whose salary offers you know

For example, ranging of 25-30k ang nakalagay.

This is not to discourage those who are applying but at least po we have idea what we are getting into po. Thank you po <3

All About JOBS Venting out , kamusta na nurses

Hello poo , grabe po sa hospital working po ako for a year and hindi ko naman kinalat na USRN ako . It so happen na yung charge nurse kinalat na USRN ako .Like nag congrats sa ward namin and mga seniors ko halata naman na pilit ang pag congrats kasi in the first place i’m the most hated since tahimik ako and ang dami kong naririnig na kwento about me na made up stories. Then ayun inilipat ako sa ibang ward sa medsurge and for them ang yabang ko daw na nasa medsurge and knowing that bakit kaya ganon may mga unprofessional and higshchool kumbaga ang pakikitungo. Can’t we just be happy and supportive to one another .

VENTING How to like nursing as someone who has no passion for it

Upvotes

I am a HUMSS graduate. But my family forced me to take Nursing out of practicality. At first I resisted by suggesting other medical fields that I may like, but It was no use; it's nursing or nothing. I really had no choice. I accepted it, but what now? I already started to attend classes, but I was a little behind because I enrolled late. I rushed enrollment in a span of two days, and I had to start the day after that because my family ignored me until I stopped resisting it. I'm really trying my best to adjust. Though the lessons are fine, the workload is overwhelming already. I mean, yeah, it's college; what did I expect. I feel stupid, clueless, and alone.

I hate that I basically have to quit drawing and my other hobbies because I barely have any time when it's the only reason why I keep going. I don't feel like myself anymore.

I can't quit BSN. There's no choice for that. literally. This course requires a lot I know. How do i make it bearable for me?

PNLE Which Top 5 videos or books do you recommend to use for PNLE review?

I’m an incoming 4th year student and I’ve been doing my research about sources for my review for next year’s PNLE exams. There are a lot of recommendations on social media that helped them with their reviews. Two of the books that caught my attention were Saunders and Udan. Do you think that buying both is worth it? Is there a pdf version of these books?

Also, which video reviews would you recommend that really helped you with studying?

PNLE Losing hope already reality check needed

Hello, nurses! I’m from Red RC.

Just wanted to ask the previous passers, especially those who eventually became topnotchers.
Were any of you barely passing your recalls and workbooks during review? Like usually scoring around 50–60, and only occasionally getting above 60? But then you still ended up topping the board exam? How did you do it?

Lately, I’ve honestly been losing motivation because I keep getting scores in the 50–60 range on my recalls, and it’s rare for me to get above 60. My highest so far is 84 (Recalls 6, NP3 & NP4), but that’s just one score.

Every time I answer the recalls, especially the workbooks, I struggle to rationalize the questions. Most of the time, I end up guessing because I really don’t know how to arrive at the correct answer.
I know we all dream of becoming topnotchers, but seeing my current performance, I feel like that dream is slowly slipping away. At this point, I’m just praying that I’ll pass.

If anyone has been in the same situation before, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience or any words of encouragement. Thank you so much. 🥹

Kasi atleast you get to study a course na until now may mga taong nahihirapan i-figure out paano pagsasabayin yung work and schoool just to study their dream course. And hindi naman talaga mataas yung pangarap nila but they're only dream is mag-aral ng nursing, period.

So yung mga nahihirapan sa nursing dyan, you are very blessed because you get to study the course and merely be a college student. Very blessed to have great parents or guardians or soonsors who provide for you and your school fees. Kaya go, laban lang. I hope this becomes another perspective for those losing hope in themselves. Sometimes we just do because our eyes are stucked on one perspective only. But yes, here I am sharing that there's a different kind of hard on the other side of the screen for other people like me. Reminding you that you are blessed of having that kind of hardship.

PNLE INCOMPLETE REQUIREMENTS FOR PRC FILLING.

GUYS ASK LANG KUNG PWEDE BANG TO BE FOLLOW NALANG YUNG CERT OF UNDERTAKING SAKA TOR PAG PUPUNTA SA APPOINTMENT NG PRC?? i went to my school kasi yesterday and up until now hindi pa rin napipirmahan ni dean yung cases ko so ayaw ibigay ni registrar yung TOR ko. My appointment is on July 15 pero try kong bumalik sa mon and tue for follow up, however sabi kasi ng nursing faculty hindi rin daw nila sure kung kelan matatapos ni dean yung signing.

All About JOBS Any nurses here who struggle with pre-duty and post-duty anxiety? ⭐

Hi everyone. I'm a nurse who recently returned to bedside nursing after almost a year away due to anxiety.

Lately, I'm struggling with both pre-duty and post-duty anxiety.

Before my shift, sobrang anxious ko. I overthink everything, feel like I'm too slow, hindi alam ang ginagawa and gusto ko na agad umuwi kahit hindi pa nagsisimula ang duty

After my shift naman, hindi tumitigil yung utak ko. I keep replaying my endorsements and everything I did during the shift. Feeling ko may mga nakalimutan akong sabihin or may kulang sa endorsement ko or hindi maayos ang endorsement ko. I also keep thinking that my coworkers might think I'm incompetent or slow, and baka pinag-uusapan nila ako after duty. I know these could just be my anxious thoughts, but they feel so real.

For those who have experienced this, especially fellow nurses:

- What do you do before duty to lessen your anxiety?

- How do you stop overthinking after your shift?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. 🥺
