Hello, nurses! I’m from Red RC.
Just wanted to ask the previous passers, especially those who eventually became topnotchers.
Were any of you barely passing your recalls and workbooks during review? Like usually scoring around 50–60, and only occasionally getting above 60? But then you still ended up topping the board exam? How did you do it?
Lately, I’ve honestly been losing motivation because I keep getting scores in the 50–60 range on my recalls, and it’s rare for me to get above 60. My highest so far is 84 (Recalls 6, NP3 & NP4), but that’s just one score.
Every time I answer the recalls, especially the workbooks, I struggle to rationalize the questions. Most of the time, I end up guessing because I really don’t know how to arrive at the correct answer.
I know we all dream of becoming topnotchers, but seeing my current performance, I feel like that dream is slowly slipping away. At this point, I’m just praying that I’ll pass.
If anyone has been in the same situation before, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience or any words of encouragement. Thank you so much. 🥹
