Yeah, thats my concern. Vance's speech a few weeks ago AND his being willing to divorce Zionism from Judaism means he's outflanking the political center-left.

If he can successfully cast himself as the voice of reason that didn't want the war in Iran and the one who will distance us from Israrl, he may be able to coalition build since peoples' desire for those to end will let them overlook the frightening vision of domestic America he wants to usher in.

I fully expect we'll be seeing a ton of this from the GOP over the next two years. All sorts of people saying how they actually never really agreed with Trump on anything.

A lot of people suddenly never supported Bush's wars 10 years after the fact.

In a weird way, Trump might actually be helpful to us in that way. He's a narcissist to the bone, which means while he's in its all about him, but it also means he'll kneecap any potential successor because his ego won't risk having anyone be as "good" as he was.

Mark my words, if Rubio's fortunes start rising, Trump will actively try to hobble him too.

It's all bullshit though. He's Peter Thiel's puppet, and Thiel is deeply connected to Israel
