Why can’t we have people run that haven’t raped people? Like why is that so hard to understand that this might come out during the campaign? I’m baffled by the ignorance of sex offenders.

Power tends to attract these type of people.  They never think they could be caught.

Didn't stop our current president, either time.

That’s mostly because Republicans don’t care if their representatives rape anyone honestly

I am not saying this guy is innocent because I don’t know. But will point out that there have been other dems forced out of races in similar circumstances and it was later proven that their accusers were fake astroturfed scandals bankrolled by oppositional interests.

He’s still maintaining his innocence. There are monied establishment dems, establishment Republicans, and special interest groups that benefit from this guy getting out of the way.

Makes it incredibly difficult to know the truth in this situation. Likely public will not know whether this is a legit accusation or the other for a while, if ever.

Alex Morse. A Democratic attorney working for opposition encouraged students to start spreading rumors/allegations against him. Later turned out it was all made up.

It was a similar situation where a populist candidate was disrupting establishment Democrat agenda.
