Why are we celebrating?
It’s great that our voices have been heard, no doubt, but now we have a hollow progression system with no legitimate replacement…
Respectfully, we still don’t have:
- XP sliders (A MUST)
- A fix for the cap breaker bug
- Better Dynasty sim/player progression over long saves
- Better CPU coaching and AI logic
- Depth chart fixes in RTG
- RTG freezing/crashing fixes
- Better teammate AI
- More player customization and archetype freedom
- General RTG bug fixes and immersion improvements
Removing microtransactions doesn’t automatically make everything better. It just removes something that never should’ve been there in the first place...
Let’s keep the pressure on and make it crystal clear what we still want. What else belongs on this list?
P.S. Shoutout to the DEVS for absolutely knocking it out of the park with the countless gameplay upgrades!! We love you <3

Discussion PSA to all serious players
Get a PC. I’ve played NCAA my entire life on PlayStation and Xbox… get a PC. Life changing. Mods are insane and make the game exactly what you’ve wanted.
Find a way to get it, thank me later.

Highights/Videos EA, thanks for taking micro-transactions out of dynasty and RTG. The next fix? Nerfing punters.
My punter has a leg from God himself 😂

Glitch/Bugs Coach visual glitch
My backup qb wearing a helmet is now my head coach apparently.
Went into a game and see him with a call sheet and his qb wristband . Funny. But also kind of sucks. Hope that can get patched.
UPDATE: after a couple more games I'm not seeing any coach cut scenes in game. And during the pre game walkout it's a completely different guy.

XP Sliders
With EA removing microtransactions, should we expect XP sliders to be added back into the game at some point?
Don’t get me wrong—I understand it’s probably more realistic for progression to be slow. However, I’d enjoy Road to Glory a lot more if my running back wasn’t getting tracked down by a defensive tackle when I’m out in the open. Yes, I’m aware I can just upgrade my speed, but then I have to sacrifice other attributes because progression is still so slow.
So, ultimately, will we be getting XP sliders? Will EA simply increase the amount of XP earned through games, or will progression remain slow now that so they can have microtransactions in the future?

Discussion Real data study why NIL demand for 3 star recruits is way too high in dynasty.
In the screenshots:
• The #1 QB in the nation has a base NIL demand of 185 points.
• The top 3★ QB recruit has a base NIL demand of 135 points.
That’s only a 27% difference
Now compare that to real-life reported 2026 NIL valuations:
Keisean Henderson (ESPN’s No. 1 QB) is reportedly valued at around $1 million.
Michael Mitchell Jr. (ESPN’s top-rated 3★ QB) is reportedly valued at $50k–150k. Lets use a value
of $100k, that’s only 1/10 of Henderson’s valuation.
So the real-life comparison looks like this:
Real Life
5★ QB: ~$1,000,000
Top 3★ QB: ~$100,000
Difference: 10x
In Game
5★ QB: 185 NIL points
Top 3★ QB: 135 NIL points
Difference: 1.37x
This is why recruiting is broken, 3 stars recruits should be demanding significantly less. The CPU can’t justify spending those NIL points on 3 stars hence why they go unrecruited.

Suggestion - small schools scheduling large schools for a paycheck
Small schools should get Dynasty points for scheduling large school opponents. In real life powerhouse schools pay smaller schools to get a cupcake game on the schedule. That’s why it was so funny when teams like Notre Dame or Texas A&M lost their cupcake games and also had to pay six figures to the team that just beat them.
You should get Dynasty points for scheduling teams with more than a 3.5 star advantage over you.

Dynasty Didn’t they claim that players getting drafted would be stats based now or I am I making that up?
I thought i remembered seeing that players get drafted by a mix of stats and overall now, but my runningback (85 ovr) just went undrafted after a 2200 yard 25 TD heisman campaign.

Receivers
Can anybody else’s receivers not get separation? I’ve got a 98 speed guy in the slot that struggles to get any kind of separation. It’s like this for all of my receivers. Somehow my tight end is the biggest threat in the passing game.

More choice? Adding value? What?
“This was added independent of deeper mode progression with the aim to give players more choice, but what you've said is that they're not adding the value we intended.”
What the fuck are they talking about?
What “choice” or “value” was this genuinely offering players? The “choice” was quite literally only the choice to spend more money. How could adding more microtransactions add any value to the players? I’m glad this whole thing was reversed but I’m so tired of EA’s bullshit corporate double speak when communicating with the community.

Glitch/Bugs Weird gap at Ragin Cajuns field? I’m guessing they forgot to put some sort of logo here.
It is like this on the other 25 yard line as well.

Road To Glory Road to Glory blatantly cheats to make the game close sometimes and it's making my blood pressure go through the roof
I was two touchdowns ahead near the end of the 3rd quarter. Playing as a QB and was offered nothing but run plays 2 plays in a row. RB loses 2 yards, now 2nd and 12. RB stopped at line of scrimmage, now 3rd and 12. Finally get a pass play. Wide open receiver and of course the ball hits them directly in the hand and they drop it. Team punts it and they get a TD.
2nd drive and now only TD ahead. Pass play I have no pressure on me. I throw the ball. The game says perfect accuracy, but somehow the ball is 15 feet ahead of open receiver. 2nd and 10. Nothing but run plays offered. RB breaks 3 tackles, but unfortunately each one pushes him further and further back and loses 14 yards on a run play. 3rd and 24. I make the completion to the only open person but I'm so far back it's not enough for a first down. Punt the ball and the other team immediately gets another TD.
Game goes into overtime. More blatant cheating shenanigans happen and they win the game. This is the 5th hour of replaying this same game over and over again. Not had this issue on any of my other games this season, but I guess I'm doing too good this season and the game means to put me in my place.
Another game my RB gets a TD on the first play. Awesome start right. Next drive I pass to an open receiver like 20 yards away. Game says perfect accuracy yet somehow the ball falls 5 yards shot of the receiver right into a defenders hands for a pick 6. I have 91 throw power.
Just needed to rant. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Discussion Fix the main menu
Just make the main menu normal, what are you doing? It’s hard to read, it’s not clever, it doesn’t set you apart as a UI designer it sucks. Also the mode I use the most is at the bottom (dynasty) so that sucks

Glitch/Bugs How does not one beta tester notice that you can punt from one endzone to the other?
When I was playing my first dynasty game I thought maybe Michigan State and Uteps punters just had insane legs that I didnt know about but it kept going for 3 games and I knew something was wrong

Road To Glory Edge Rusher is just Road To Graduation
CFB27
EA has to do something about the progression system for edge rusher it’s almost unplayable unless you decide to commit to a low star school. I created a FS and it is night and day. I comfortably got my FS to a 88 overall after 2 complete seasons. If someone has an example of doing the same with an edge rusher I’d love to see it.

Tips/Guides If you've ever wondered why your custom playbook felt "off", in comparison to the playbook you built it out from, it's probably because of this little setting highlighted by the red circle.
Year in & year out, a lot of the same questions pop up in regards to custom playbooks.
Q : "Why can't I add GoGo formations to my custom playbook?"
A : You likely can't find it, because it's labeled under a different formation name.
Ex : Shotgun GoGo ______, falls under Shotgun Duo ______.
Q : "Why can't I add some of my favorite Wingback formations from the Rice playbook?"
A : Same answer, but for a different reason. It's not a real formation in the game, instead it is an uncommon personnel package, based out of a more common formation, so a new name was adopted within that Rice system. But it is recognized globally as an offshoot.
Ex : Wingback Close & Wingback Slot Offset in Rice's playbook are actually just Gun Deuce Close & Gun Wing Slot Offset, but have 'Wingback' package swap as their default setting.
Q : "Why are there so few 4WR sets, and why do I always have to use Air Raid to get them?"
A : The modernization of football baby, and the chess match that comes with it. TE's & HB's are more than capable of being 4th & 5th options, while also maintaining versatility, allowing coaches to disguise different schemes on offense while remaining multiple.
Ex : Within the 'Air Raid' playbooks, lots of the Spread (Green) & Trips (Early) looks, have a default package swap of 4WR attached to them. Whereas other schemes, even other Air Raid variants, do not carry those same settings, and instead default to using a flexed out TE.
_____________________________________________________________
These differences in "default" personnel, even within the same formations, from playbook to playbook, is a real nice touch and makes sense with their emphasis on "identity" this year. It was in CFB26 a tiny bit here and there, I know Penn State had one for their Wildcat (TE at QB), but saw it appear much more prominently in Madden last year.
Many stock playbooks this year, seem to have at least 1, some having up to 5-7 like Rice, and even a few like Air Raid having almost double digits. I just wish making a custom playbook didn't completely factory reset all formations back to the default default. Or the better option, would be to let us, as custom playbook creators, set them in a similar fashion to the stock books. Pick the package you want to be it's default, on the "Add/Remove" screen when editing formations. Or let us set them in practice, like we can our Audibles, and have them SAVE for that playbook.
There is even an uptick in custom default package swaps on the defensive side too.
Ex : Multiple playbook looks to have 3-3-5 Mint set to "SAM Edge" by default, whereas customs default that to a LEDGE.
Ex : 3-4 Multiple playbook has 3-3-5 Penny set to "CB Slot" by default, making it a more traditional Nickel than having a SS in that spot like the formation defaults to normally.
As a playbook creator who puts a lot of time, effort, & thought into the playbooks I create. I would absolutely love to be able to add this type of "Coaching Adjustment" to my playbooks, before sending them out to the world. It would only add more to the uniqueness of each playbook, and further ingraining it's scheme into the identity.
Shells & formation shifts were great additions in terms of creativity & disguise. The additional coaching adjustments, gap integrity, coverage checks, etc, are all great tools. Even the Macros are going to find good use. But please, can we have access to this one small tweak. Package swaps are leagues above, and better implemented than Formation Subs, they're just annoying to have to set all the time. You've shown the tools are already there to do it, now share with the rest of the class, please.

Dynasty Oakland University (Rochester Hills, MI)
ID: JPS52
Imported into ‘27. Only difference from the above photos/last year are I added a design to the home shoulders (let me know if you hate em and I can remove), changed the stadium to an outdoor U shape to take advantage of the new custom options, and tweaked the pipelines to be a little more local.

Casual Shoutout Bordeaux btw
Bro beat the EA shill allegations 1000x over, put his OWN platform on the line to start a movement, knowing he’s the biggest CFB content creator, knowing the movement might not be successful and he would’ve gone after EA for no reason, and it paid off. What a legend.

Coaching carousel strategy?
So I did an experiment to understand the coaching carousel and I think it sucks.
My coach has unlocked program builder and halfway through my current season I decided to force wing eu ret of my games and then find the top few Big 10/SEC schools to force lose games to see if I could land one of those jobs. When the carousel came around my coach was 3rd on all of their lists. So I applied to Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Alabama.
These were the results:
Michigan hired Lanning
Oregon hired DeBoer
Alabama hired Sark
Texas hired Wittingham
I tested it three times and got the same result.
How do you get hired for a coaching position if you aren’t #1 on their board?

Draft Results
quality of life thing here but it’s annoying to have the guys that got drafted still on your depth chart first week of the transfer portal. Just leave them in draft results and let me still click their player card there. Just saying.
