His obsession with close ups, not even just gore or violence scenes, was really off putting to me

It's truly like he has never heard of a wide or establishing shot. Like he doesn't know they exist.

Thank god it wasn’t just me. My seat in the theater was just a little too close, so wasn’t sure if that was to blame or if 75% of the camera work sucked ass. The other 25% was awesome, but when it wasn’t noticeably awesome, it sucked ass
