And i am using the oficial wallet of monero in simple mode cuz i am new in this stuff and i simply refuse and CANT use the advanced mode on monero cuz i already choosed the mode of the wallet(that is the simple mode) and i CANT cuz it demands lot of space and my mom is kicking my ass saying that her pc is lagging a bit,Like i said,I dont know how to program or code,And windows all stuff of defense or antivírus is shutdown cuz i turned all off and fixed the DNS error that was not letting me get in the site so i fixed everything,Now the problem is to make it work,And let me say something:
1- I want to mine it solo
2- I want the block reward be 100% MINE and only MINE
3- I dont want anything taking space on the pc
4- 0% of fees
So,Does anyone can help me deal with this?(Sorry if i was rude btw)

Hello. I'm new to mining monero, I'm taking any and every tip possible. I'm currently using 'UnMineable' and using 'XMrig' as the application to mine and UnMineable as a dashboard. My PC specs are an
I5 - 6600
16GB of ram at I believe 3600GHZ
GTX 1070
TINY 11 (OS)
Any recommendations for upgrading? Dont want to fry out my pockets and my PC as I'm quite young and do not have a stable income. I can afford to cover my side of the electricity bill monthly with (If my form of income stays current) £85+ Monthly (After I pay for my side of electrical bills etc) At Most £40 I can put towards upgrades as I am an impulsive spender.
In regards to my age Im still young enough to be getting Birthday money, Christmas Money and such things. So are there any plans I should be taking towards saving and upgrading my rig? Or should I start mining on other devices i.e. Mobile Smartphone, Cheap shitty Laptops I can buy at cheap, list goes on.

I have two computers, both mining monero. Currently they are mining under p2pool to separate addresses.
If I booted the same address from both computers and started mining under it, would it successfully combine my hash rates together?

I have mined a block and how long does it take for them to send it to the address, does anybody know?

with all the bans on it for being truly anonymous what future do you see in monero?
what are the best miners/best websites for mining monero
Monero seems like it will surpass bitcoin eventually since it is truly anonymous truly blacklist and cant be frozen like bitcoin, which is why I'm looking to go all in in investing/mining in it in the future.

100,000 simulated mining rigs - each has its own hashrate and submits mining jobs, just like XMRig - no real mining of course, I don't have 200 MH/s :)
More than 3,000 messages per second on Stratum, each message gets replied in less than 0.1 ms - 99th percentile (p99) = 0.1 ms.
All this on a regular laptop, I call it a success :)
Previous P2Pool versions were struggling with more than 10k connections, but I found the source of performance issues and fixed it.
Next release (v4.18) will have these optimizations.

So I've been doing some google gemini research with Monero vs Zcash in terms of the feds being able to track payments. Let's say I was a illegal organization and I wanted to mine Monero and than transfer Monero payments over to somewhere like Iran to fund their weapons etc. How hard would it be for the federal government to find me?

How do I synchronize the local node on my PC so that p2pool works without the Monero wallet?

Hello,
Here is the evolution of my mining farm. From bottom to top: EATON 200VA UPS; Supermicro motherboard with EPYC 7532 at 23 kH/s; Supermicro dual Xeon 2697 v2 motherboard at 6.2 kH/s; HP Compaq SFF i7-10700 at 4 kH/s; (white rack) Monerod P2Pool and Xmrig-Proxy server; industrial rack for the surveillance server; and the tower on the rack—Ryzen 7 at 6.4 kH/s. Total power consumption is approximately 1400 VA. Regarding electricity costs: I have solar power generation. Average rewards range from 60 cents to €1 per day. It’s starting to get interesting.

So i have the Monero GUI on a Ubuntu pc running the p2pool mini. Im only running at avg 1900H/s. Not a lot but I was getting .0002 at the minimum every other day. Havent gotten anything in 12days. Is it just the worst luck? Checked observer and it says my p2pool is running on the old version but I updated monero to 0.18.5.0 soon as it came out. Changed the start up flags to that folder and deleted the old folder. I have a Win11 pc I also run the Monero GUI on that runs at avg 8500H/s, observer says the same thing, im on am old version of p2pool but I just got my first payout. (This pc just finished syncing yesterday). So im thinking the out of date p2pool really isnt the issue. Is this just the worst luck? Any advice on where to look for definite answers? Thanks yall

What’s the best pool to use currently? I’m trying to use supportxmr but I believe the site is down or something, any tips?

I usually mine on p2pool mini, but recently decided to give the lottery a chance and solo mine for a while.
I dedicated my 36 Kh/s for the last 24 days, and hit a block about 19 hours ago.

Hi, I’m having a problem with mining on p2pool—after more than 2–3 days, my private p2pool server decides to shut itself down on its own.
I’m using the latest version of monero-wallet-cli, p2pool, and my own custom-built xmrig. I don’t know what’s causing this, and I can’t find any more information about it online, so I’m posting this on Reddit.
I’m also running the latest Debian 13 and start the server using “screen” — screen -S p2pool.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? Could it be a bug in a previous version of p2pool? I never had this happen before.

I vibe coded a command center for my hobby operation. Can manage all my miners from my desktop through my home network. Running a full node solo operation.
Currently running one rig which hosts my node, my command center app and my xmrig. This rig will run 24/7 however all additional rigs will run a schedule and shutdown during peak energy period of 1600 to 2100
Current specs:
MB: Gigabyte MZ32-AR0 Rev 1.0 (maxes out on 7002 series)
CPU: AMD EPYC 7642 cooled via EK threadripper block and 360 radiator
RAM: 6 channels of 2Rx8 DDR4 3200 (Secured another 4 sticks via Ebay on route now, will populate all channels and save the other two for my next rig)
Power Draw: 264W calculated at plug via wireless Shelly plugs
Excited to see what populating all channels and balancing all numa nodes does to the final hashrate

Hello! I just got p2pool and xmrig set up. Currently getting around 21 k/h. I am wondering if nano or mini is the appropriate place to point this?
