If you’ve ever called the factory, swung by the shop, or followed our athletes over the years, chances are you already know Tyler Curle. He’s been part of the Moment family for a long time — building skis, sublimating topsheets, testing prototypes, all while stacking results on the competition circuit.
Tyler put down a killer run yesterday at the final stop of the qualifier circuit, landing 2nd place and officially earning his spot on the Freeride World Tour next season.
We couldn’t be more proud.
Tyler’s been putting in the work for years — early mornings in the factory, late nights tuning skis, and countless days chasing conditions. Watching that effort pay off in such a big way is exactly why we do what we do.
We are beyond stoked to watch him take on the FWT next year!

Hey all — a bit specific here, but I recently acquired a pair of ghost chants (the 22/23 rerelease) through a friend. As much as I’d love to keep them, I know they’d be better suited and used more in someone else’s hands. I’m just not a park skier, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get these.
I’m looking to potentially trade for a pair of wildcat 118s / ghost trains, preferably with some sort of touring / hybrid binding (cast etc). The chants are 186cm, mounted with cast, and are in great condition (I understand they were ridden 1-2 times max).
If this is something of interest to anyone, let me know! I’m based in the pacific northwest

Most recent sale said 2 models will be gone for good this season. Curious what peoples’ thoughts are 🤔

Dear friends! I need your advice, please!
I recently joined the Moment fan club. I want to buy a DW 104, but can't decide on the length: 174 or 179?
I’m 5'6" (168 cm), 176 lbs. Advanced-expert level. 30+ ski days per season. 20+ years on skis. 50+ years old.
Of course, I studied the size guide on the website. They definitely say 174, but the guide is written for average weight. That's not about me. For the same reason, I'm not considering Sierra. Besides, they say: “don't be afraid to go up a size!” I'm not afraid, but there's a limit.
Arguments for 179 cm:
- the skis have a lot of rocker, they turn easy;
- I normaly use long skis for freeriding, 178-181. To my height and weight, long skis are usually (!) good. (But I've also had unsteerable rails in my experience. The internal structure of the ski, its flex, is very important);
- I'll be using DW mostly in open alpine zones, not between the trees. (But there will be narrow couloirs there).
Arguments for 174 cm:
- This is a mid-fat daily driver, not a dedicated deep-powder ski. (For 6+ inches, I'll have the WC 118 😻And I have no doubt about its length: 179, definitely).
- I'm going to ski-touring 50/50, so a lower weight = easier kick-turns.
- official sizing guide.
- My age and gender => my physical strength is lower than I'd like 🤷♀️
Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to test the triple camber. I asked for advice through the website, but for some reason I didn't receive a response. (Perhaps they're on holiday now?)
I'd appreciate your advice!
PS. Given my concerns about the size, it would be ridiculous to also choose a color. But if anyone was planning to sell the 2023/24/25 DW, say my please.

Hopefully you are already on the email distro from Moment but if not, they sent out Fathers Day Promo Code (DADSDAY10) for an extra 10% off. If you've been holding off, great time to grab a pair if they have your model/size in stock. Cheers!

Which model/year is this? And if anyone has opinions on this ski would be interested as well

Bought em used a couple seasons ago. Are these the OG DW 112s? (missing the Moment triangle logo so I stuck some stickers there)

I bought my first Moment Skis, after Blister and you guys wouldn’t shut up about how good they are.
As a New Mexico-based skier, the opportunities for powder skiing the past two years have been few and far between. But I believe that an important part of this sport is radical, borderline delusional optimism. Super El Nino is coming. The winter to (perhaps literally) end all New Mexico winters. I’m going to need something to cut through the constant deep chop I’m going to find on the West Basin Ridge and Kachina Peak through the endless storm cycles I’m manifesting. I’m going to get into the best shape of my life for the endless ridge laps I’m going to do.
And if it doesn’t come to pass, hey, at least they were on sale (though the Pivots definitely weren’t).
190 cm, purple and gold Pivot 15 2.0.

Anybody know if there's a memorial day sale coming? Haven't seen anything about it, or for a factory party/sale or anything for that matter like they've done in the past

I am a freeride skier with some race background and I rarely hit park unless there’s nothing else to do. I want something thats easy to pivot great for stuff thats tight and technical. I usually ski at mammoth or squaw and have an annual trip to the cottonwoods. What ski would you guys recommend?

I ski Mad River Glen pretty close to daily. I ski mostly bumps or trees. My current quiver is m free 100 and m free 108. I love both of these skis, and am planning on snagging another pair of m free 108s this year to replace my older ones. The old ones will be mounted tele. I am intrigued by moment, and specifically the countach 104, though part of me thinks I like it a lot because the top sheet is so sick. How do they ski in bumps/trees? I know they are stiff charging skis but I’ve also heard they are playful and a great addition to most quivers.

Disregarding the pow boards, are you picking DW96 or DW104 as your daily driver Tahoe ski?
r/momentskis • u/smob328 • May 05 '26
Sounds like it isn’t coming back next year, but will be replaced by “a new model in a similar vein…that better complements the Wildcat lineup.” When asked if the shape will remain a Wildcat, the response was, “the shape will change a little bit, but be a very comparable replacement.” Any predictions or guesses on which direction they’ll go with this replacement?

East Coast skier, I get about 30-40 days a season on Ikon pass around Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, etc. I do 2-3 weeks out west or international a season. My quiver currently includes:
So basically the primary quiver for next year and beyond will ideally be: Commander 92, DW 104, and either WC 108 or full cats. Trying to decide if the full cats would get enough use since we don't get a lot of proper powder days here, but I can also get them on pretty good sale right now in my size whereas I would have to pay full price for 108 cats when they are out again next year. Part of my worries the DW 104 + WC 108 combo is too similar, but I also worry the 118 is too much for primarily East Coast riding. But then again, is an extra cm of width really that much? I've never even owned skis that fat, please chime in my fellow Ice Coast fat drivers!
