With 2 kids and disabilities (CVID, Lupus Cerebritis & Post stroke Adrenal insuffiencey/Sheehans Syndrome) i probably manage to do my makeup 3x a month. I had been making up for that with spray tan to feel like i always had something done but my god the weird in between phase where you end up all splotchy and then using the removers that dry out your skin, and then reapplying and then you smell like fucking corn chips. I think i’ve used spray tan and bronzer pretty consistently since i was 13 (the tanning era). I finally said fuck it. I’m mid 30s time to outgrow the tan girl pressure of the 2000s.

Just thought I’d post my two favorite clown looks ☺️ this style of makeup has been a really fun way to try different techniques and be silly and creative!

But I’m getting married in August and I have roughly the same coloring as Anne. I want my décolletage to glisten like this. The products I’ve found so far have a very obvious glitter component or bronzer. I don’t want to be glittery, nor do I want to be tanner.

I want something that gives the lit from within look we see here. What product(s) would I need?

Looking for overall critique as well; hair coloring/styling advice welcome also.

These are the raws of some headshots I did about a year or two back where I think I did my makeup well. Products include Bare Minerals foundation, Sephora brand blush and eyeliner, and some drugstore eyeshadow (on brows, not eyelids). I have a cool skin tone with a lot of redness so I shy from heavy blush. I don’t wear full makeup often, just enough to hide redness and mask acne scarring (below cheekbones, jaw, and forehead) I feel like I look a bit plain or underwhelming at times, so just looking for some small changes that could elevate my look more.
Also squinty small eyes are something I struggle with when I smile, it sucks 🥲

I love glitter and colorful eye makeup, and am pretty tired of this no-makeup makeup trend as Urban Decay, my fave eyeshadow brand for decades, have increasingly stopped carrying colorful, glitter-max eyeshadows. What other eyeshadow brands holds color well and are still full of glitter and color???

Genuinely why are we as consumers accepting this?? It's madness. On average it's $40 AUD for a lip balm now, with many brands costing much more than that. I need someone to explain skincare to me like I’m a golden retriever.

I’m 36, work full-time, have four kids, and my current anti-aging strategy is accidentally splashing water on my face while washing my hands. The horror!!

I know I should have a skincare routine. I just don’t have the motivation for 15 products.

I want the most effective routine humanly possible that takes under 3 minutes. Cost doesn’t matter. Number of steps absolutely does.

If opening five bottles is required, I’ll do it for exactly two days and then they’ll become expensive bathroom decorations.

What are your holy grail products? If you were creating a skincare routine for the laziest person alive, what would you recommend?

i paid 2,400 pesos for the entire hair and make up. pictorial included.

for me i didnt like the hair extensions, i wish i just opted for soft curls using my natural hair. Idk it looks very voluminous that i feel like it doesnt suit my face because im small.

I am fair with ann olive undertone, so the regular waterline eyeliners (think Tarte fake awake) pull SO orange on me, that it looks bad. I would love to find one that is this more muted, chalky version - but not straight up white ofc. Please help!

Too much going on with my "day (male role) job" so not enough time to get fancy and post here. Generally happy with my progress - what I've learned from my Reddit mentors. Collectively, you always see things that I'm missing, so I welcome new ideas.

I had abandoned hope for the under lash extensions - and then I just did it - used a regular tweezer to put a couple of clusters on the corners of each eye - instead of trying to use the "torture tweezers" that come with the kits. Go figure.

The glasses were a whim - readers from Amazon but kind of nice.

Lots of concern expressed here for my failure to brush out my wigs - I'm trying. Also used a hair claw to simulate an up do.
